The Coast has serious deficiencies when it comes to dining, so I'm pleased that Lincoln City has this tasty little joint - even if it does seem better suited to Portland or Eugene.

This is not your typical pizza joint - no pepperoni on the menu and no soda either. To be honest that's what we were looking for tonight, so I was a bit disappointed. I'm putting that disappointment aside, however, to review this restaurant on its own merit.

Based on food alone, the pizza would make this place a 4-star restaurant. Fresh ingredients and you actually see your pizza being made - from the dough being stretched to the pie being pulled from the oven. The staff were very friendly.

The seating is sparse and includes a large "community" table - which isn't my thing. Lack of beverage choices was irksome as well, though there are a number of trendy brews. Perhaps I'm just not cool enough for this place :-) You order at the register, not at a table. That being said, two different staff members checked in on us during the course of the meal.

Prices are higher than average. One large pizza and two drinks - a sparkling water and a beer - was $40.50 before tip. I rated this 3-stars (more like 3.5) because of the limited seating and lack of beverages (I understand it's trendy), and expense. But I would not hesitate to recommend the quality of food served or the happy people...

This is a very Artisan kind of place. They have all the trappings of a local cafe in Portland. This is kind of cool because there aren't really places like this on the coast too much. It's usually either really grungy hole in the walls or super fancy Resort type restaurants. We didn't actually eat at the restaurant but we got some pizza and sides to go.

The pizza itself was super rich and thick and I believe we were only able to eat maybe one piece each. I think I remember eating two pieces and then being in a food coma. Now this is not a negative or a bashing it's just this is not your run-of-the-mill pizza it's very high quality ingredients and the dough is obviously freshly made. We were very happy with our food we just wish we were able to eat it all. We lugged pieces of pizza with us to our other lodgings and even after hammering away at it for a few days we weren't able to finish the whole pizza.

This is all to say that this place gives you really good value for food and we didn't get a chance to order anything else but the rest of the menu looks really scrumptious and I will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some good artist...

Went to dinner for the first time here last night. It was super busy but they've got a call list and they called us when they had a table ready, precisely at the time they estimated. It's a fairly small restaurant, cozy. Pizza is the specialty and the only food offering aside from some appetizers and daily specials. Stone fruit is in season right now and the specials of the night all included nectarines. Lucky for my wife and I as we both love them. I got a pizza with fresh nectarines, prosciutto and peppers. It's easily the best pizza I've had in Lincoln City and the best pizza I've had anywhere in a long time. It's cooked in a wood fired pizza oven that takes up a substantial part of the kitchen. The crust on my pizza was bubbly with small little burny spots, exactly how a proper wood fired Italian style pizza should be. My wife got a caprese salad that had fresh nectarines. It was beautiful and she said it was delicious. For desert we stuck with the nectarine theme and shared a piece of nectarine upside down cake. It was fabulous. Our server was friendly and attentive. Hearth & Table popped up at the top of the recommended list when we were looking at the current state of affairs in Lincoln City. It turned out to be with very good reason, indeed. After signing in, we wandered through the adorable housewares shop next door, and then ordered a couple of glasses of wine to keep us company in the waiting area. The person handling seating kept a close eye on the clipboard, and did a very attentive job of managing lots of people waiting for a small number of tables. Their ETA estimates were very good. And now for the food, which was very, very good indeed. We had their Campagna salad, with arugula, walnuts, feta, onions, and a simple, terrific dressing. Our pizza was a perfect example of "trust the chef" - my wife's motto when we encounter something different on a menu. The Kofta pizza came with seasoned lamb, and a small pile of salad in the center, that contained a bit of mint, and went beautifully with the lamb. The night's blackboard dessert special was a warm orange and cardamom cake. Highly recommended.

Based on reviews for “Best pizza in Lincoln City”, we had to give this wood-fired pizza a try to judge for ourselves. We’re happy to report that it’s true, folks! H&T was so much more than just best pizza. Their flavorful, chewy crust and wonderfully curated fresh ingredients would impress anyone even from Italy. They also have great cocktails, starter options, tasty salads and desserts. We heard the place was small and filled up fast so we decided to go before the dinner rush. It was a pleasant surprise the see a few offerings for happy hour including a margarita pizza big enough for 2. We also tried the caesars salad and had just enough room to enjoy a few bites of tiramisu with French press coffee. Our delightful server made great recommendations and was the icing on the cake to a perfect date night out. Lincoln City is lucky to have this place and we can’t wait to visit again.
