Nyla's Cup of Jo — Restaurant in Lincoln City

Customer service was subpar at best. My first time here and I ask how they make their caramel macchiato because depending on where you are at, the recipe varies slightly. The response I received was "I have been doing this for 20 years". I let them know I am not concerned with their experience, I just want to know how they are made here. With no clarity other than caramel sauce is used, I proceed to order an iced caramel macchiato americano with a splash of cream. I'm asked if I want it made with water. My drink is not stirred. I'm wondering after 20 years how they didn't know americano suggests a water based drink, why they don't stir an iced americano drink, or how to be kind to paying customers especially working in a tourist city. Decided to stop at Nyla’s because the other three more known coffee places were lines long n Nyla’s only had maybe two, i passed her little shop a couple of times to find a different shop to go to but finally i reluctantly pulled in, well i must say i was pleasantly surprised, not only was she very friendly but the options were great, she was quick, inexpensive and the coffee was wonderful, i am extremely picky when it comes to my coffee that’s why i go to the others because I know it’s going to be pretty much exact but no more will i wait in line for coffee at one of the three others when I visit Lincoln City but i will for Nyla’s Cup of Jo, try it out you won’t be disappointed.. I move to Lincoln City about 2 years ago, not until recently did I start getting my coffee here. And for that oversight I'm kicking myself! Her coffee is fantastic! She's very friendly, quick and it truly is a great friendly experience on my way to work in the morning. She is tucked away a little bit, off 101 but that's what makes it so special and Charming. Not everyone knows about it yet. While visitors focus on being the first in line at the Big Chain coffee shops I will count myself lucky receiving my cup of joe from her.
