Sooo bad. Went there for lunch and ordered nachos for an app. It came out with literally a small drizzle of cheese, maybe a spoon full of hamburger. And everything else what was supposed to be included was just a Trace full. I asked very politely (which I HATE doing but needed to be done) for maybe just a little more toppings. I was looked at like I was being rude. Refused to add more toppings so I said ok. I'll just pay extra. I got wings and asked for them to be extra crispy. They were undercooked. My girl got the buffalo chicken tenders. They looked like they've been cooked and waiting to be served with barely any sauce on them. Plus they were extremely dry(because they were previously cooked I'm guessing) our onion rings were way undercooked. Our son's French fries were extremely soggy like they just dipped them in the fryer. My girlfriend had to walk to the bar to order water cause our waitress would not come check on us. And when she did she got a very unwelcome response from the bartender. Like it was my girlfriend's problem she had to ask for water. All the time it was very slow and not very many people ordering food. More than 60% of the tables were dirty and was very hard to find a table that was suitable. I could have got better service and food from McDonald's. I hate leaving this kind of review because I liked the location on 16th and south before they closed. Ownership should definitely address the daytime...
Read moreThis is a place I go to virtually every day. That should say at least two things. One is I like the place and the other is I believe because of that I am pretty aware of what goes on. I see the ups and downs that are part of any business. I also have no connection to Brewsky's other than being a regular customer. I have never worked there or had any professional connection.
Typically the service is good to very good and the food is great. There are good servers and bartenders and not so good servers anywhere. I don't think a restaurant exists that has exemplary service at all times in all places and situations. Everyplace is sometimes less than it should be. Customers also have different expectations of what is acceptable and what isn't. I would say Brewsky's has a lot more good servers and bartenders than not so good.
I read a comment about the food taking a while to come out of the kitchen. I have seen that at times but it usually is when they are very busy. The kitchen is relatively small and there is only so much room on the grill and in the fryers. The kitchen staff does a great job getting the food out as quickly as they can.
I might add if anyone is coming in with a party of more than eight it would be courteous to call ahead, preferably the day before. Then they can be staffed accordingly. Large parties put a lot of strain on the kitchen. A party of thirty is more strenuous than seven...
Read moreUsed to go here every Friday night but it’s really gone down hill. Second time in a row of ordering a nacho and getting not even one full scoop of meat on it mostly just chips..which is such a let down for the price, then one of our burgers had lettuce, tomato, and pickles on it when it was a burger that didn’t come with any of that the other burger was supposed to have an over easy egg and it definitely wasn’t over easy. Waiter didn’t once check on us had to catch one of the other waiter walking by to get our order fixed. So much for eating together on date night by the the time our second burger was fixed that person had to eat alone…everything seemed way over priced for the amount of service received and quality and no one once apologized or cared there were maybe 3 tables with people at them so there really was no excuse for not even checking in on us or for the crappy overpriced food will definitely be looking for a new location to go Friday nights, thought we’d come back and try it again, but am reminded why we left before. Will remind others...
