I was so excited for this location to open because I have a 6 month old baby and I thought the drive-thru would be so much more convenient. It’s not. If you make a mobile order way ahead of time you still need to wait behind all the cars that are still placing orders and then waiting for their orders to be made. Which okay, they just didn’t figure out a good window pick up system so I walk in and pick up my order usually. But my experience last night 11/3/22 really just ruined my night. Baby isn’t a fan of the car so I began ordering and picking up my coffee once he has gone down for the day and I drive over and pick up coffee for the next morning (4:30-5am wake ups) it was 8:50pm that I drove into the drive-thru and I was excited that I was going to make it in time to pick up my much needed coffee for the morning. I guess the car before me had like 10 orders to place and none of them knew what they wanted because it literally took 10 minutes for them to place the order. I drive up and it just turned 9pm. And I get “we are closed” I mention that I’ve been waiting for a bit already and I just get another cold “yea we are closed”. If you are an overtired mother that also works and you thought you figured out a system where you are still able to get your coffee without having the baby cry the entire car ride and you get a “we are closed” after waiting for 10 minutes to place your order already yup that will lead a mom to have a break down in the car. If you don’t have a decent drive-thru system at least take the order when you see that the car has been waiting for 10 minutes...
Read moreI received an advertisement of 50% off any handcrafted drink after 12 noon on Thursday “ Yay Thursday “ as per the advertisement thru the Starbucks app, I called the company and was directed to a chat 💬, there I explained the issue and I asked why the false advertisement?? The store was packed on Thursday and we wanted to get the 50% off but at the time to pay .. there was an error and nobody was able to get the 50% off but instead we had to pay the full cost. I expressed to the representative it was a disappointed to go there at that “particular time” they mentioned on the app just to be told I can’t get the discount. The rep offered me 100 starts, I said can you make it 200 or a free drink .. he refused ! I expressed that i am a loyal customer that goes there every day including Saturdays and i always order the handcrafted drinks which are not cheap plus danishes but that didn’t matter to the representative, I did not get a free drink. Well hello Starbucks I have news for you, I will drastically reduce my visits at your stores until I no longer assist and will not spend my money there. If I am not valued as a loyal customer neither will I spend my money there. Will opt dunking donuts for coffee or another coffee shop. I just went through the drive through to order my breakfast and the person taking the order whom I don’t have the name, she is african American, short hair and always wears a black mask made me feel like my money was not worth it to Starbucks. I drive up to the ordering area and she asked first if I wanted food and I said no thank you then I ordered a medicine ball but also quickly changed my mind to order a banana bread and right she replied in a very condescending way “ I THOUGHT YOU DID NOT WANT FOOD”, I said sorry I would like a banana bread. She said MAKE UP YOUR MIND AND HAVE YOUR MONEY READY” I ACTUALLY DROVE OFF and did not feel like giving my money to her. .
As far as I’m aware Starbucks provides extensive training to their employees. This person IS NOT a representation of the brand and should be spoken to or retrained. As a business neighbor in the same plaza this is not a place I want to visit if that’s the behavior or atmosphere that I’m going to encounter.
