I came in today with two others to have lunch and discuss upcoming travel plans. We spent over $60 and were there for only 2 hours. As we were getting up to leave however, the woman who said her name is “T” (refused to give a real name, which is unlawful for a persons employed with a franchise), explained that we were “there for too long” and “taking up space”, despite us continuously ordering food. We were a small table of 3, and the restaurant was completely empty for the entire 2 hours. We were already getting ready to leave when she approached us. I explained to her that her behavior towards paying customers (regulars at that) is unacceptable and we have reported this incident to corporate. We are all adults in the STEM field, we all have corporate jobs as well, and we were treated like teenagers who come in to idle and act rowdy. This will be the last time any of us will be visiting Tropical Smoothie Cafe.
If there is any doubt to the legitimacy of this review, we have a case number for the report we made with corporate, and they verified this incident and have escalated the case for proper action...
Read moreWent there to pick up an order for delivery and one of your workers gave me the order with the bag opened and there was no seal on the drinks. Customers have told me when they receive orders unsealed where a driver can literally sabotage their order, they don't order from that restaurant again. Or in other words, if a delivery driver can literally remove the lid on a drink and put it back on, customers throw it out and don't order from that restaurant again. If I handed you a smoothie that was unsealed, would you drink it? I highly doubt it and customers feel just the same. I'll erase this post once...
Read moreI ran here before work to grab a smoothie, I work in NY and was running late. Got to work and in drinking the smoothie it’s lumpy, ingredients aren’t blended well. I called the restaurant to let them know and I was treated like a criminal, I was asked why didn’t I say something at the store, why I waited so long, and the best one, they asked me to bring the drink back and that’s the only way for them to resolve the issue. I was extremely disappointed with this tropical cafe’s customer service. They need to be trained on customer service I do not recommend...
