I was at your store in Linden NJ, I was there to purchase a printer, long story short, was taken to register to purchase a printer, replacement ink, the service plan and a ream of paper, the female rep began to ring me up and ask if I did I belong to your reward program and I gave her the phone number that I believed should be there, from when I purchased my last printer. She stated she couldn't find me by the number and I ask if she could check by my name, she said I would probably need to call the 800 number or she could sign me up, I said ok let's do it. Thinking that she was going to sign me up and then she asked for the payment so I paid the bill, then inquired would I receive my new rewards card via email or mail, so I could check to points, and she informed me that it would Start on my next purchase, and I said no I wanted this purchase to count as well, so after huffing and puffing she stated she could return and rering the order, at that point I stated yes return the products but there would be no need to ring it back because I changed my mind, because I didn't want to burden or over work her. She then called for a manager and he walked over and she explained the situation, at no time did he approach me to assist me or ask me what happened, I over heard him tell her to advise me that I could call the 800 number and have them correct my rewards account, and since I wasn't involved in the conversation I abruptly stated that I would be doing any of the above and please cancel this order, at that time he gave her the ok to return the products and walked away and began to have a conversation with another emotes which made me feel like I was the topic of their discussion. I then ask the rep for his name and she states his name was Rohan, I said because when I called corporate I would like to have the correct name, im not sure of her name but I will attach a copy of my receipt. So I walked out and made my purchase at another...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday, on January 10th, I visited the Staples store in Linden with the intention of buying two chargers. Initially, all was well as an employee offered assistance. However, my experience took a drastic turn when I couldn't locate one of the chargers on the shelf, and the first attendant's behavior turned extremely aggressive when she couldn't find the item I wanted. I kindly requested assistance in checking the stock for its availability.
Upon informing her of my need for two chargers, she located only one and proceeded to the checkout without bothering to check for the second. When I brought up the fact that I still needed the second one, her response was remarkably rude, stating they only stock what's on the shelf. In search of an alternative, I approached another employee with red hair, who was remarkably helpful in finding a similar charger and checking the stock. Eventually, I found the right charger based on her recommendation.
In summary, despite the store's relative emptiness during the early hours, the first attendant displayed an unprecedented level of rudeness, disrespect, and unprofessionalism. Her lack of interest in assisting customers and the aggression she exhibited when unable to find the item I sought were completely unacceptable. This behavior leaves a negative impression on Staples.
Also I overheard the employee expressing her satisfaction that Bryan wasn't present. It was clear from her words that she was pleased about Bryan's absence. However, when it came to helping me, her demeanor was notably rude, suggesting a disparity in her approach to engaging with customers versus her willingness to assist. This raises concerns about her commitment to customer service and professional conduct.
Customers deserve a positive shopping experience without having to endure such disrespectful treatment. I appreciate your attention to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreInsanely rude and unhelpful young employees at the UPS drop off location. I used to bring 20 to 30 boxes per week there, and had arrangement with old managers and employees to drop my boxes into the bin by myself without waiting in line. It worked great until the new hires. They won't help. Have huge attitude and will throw your drop off receipt to the floor like you are some kind of a dog. Today I dropped of 4 boxes. They refused to help, so I dropped the boxes myself into the bin. 2 of the 4 landed on the outside due to obstacles and bin being far, and me being sloppy. Before I finished and got a chance to apologize, and ask for help to pick them up, the curly hair girl jump on me with big attitude how she "does not care". I had enough after 2 years of this, so I finally went to the manager and explained him what happened. When I came back for my receipt, she threw the receipt to the floor and told me it's on the floor. So rude. Why even hire someone like that? From 30 boxes per week it is down to about 2 per month, because on top of the bad service, they lost 2 of my boxes. Impossible to tell who is at fault as I have the receipt, but there is no tracking update. Technically it is Stables at fault. If Staples wants to investigate, I have all...
