This place is truly one of the kind because the food is amazing as much as the people. You can tell it's made with love and care because it's definition of home cook meal at perfection.le lambchop is just one of my favorites even tho the whole menu is just so good cause tried almost everything. One of my concern is that they not getting the support that they deserve because with the type of food and service they have this place supposed to be to another level it's sad they not and I can't help but to blame the location because with the right location and the right support they should be doing well by now cause it's been a year and they shouldn't be struggling with the gem that they have .you can go numerous of time and the taste ,the hospitality, the atmosphere of the restaurant is still the same.i wish the people of the location could support so they can stay in business and hopefully they able to open to another location so they can have the support necessary.the food speak for itself so let's support as much as we can this local business so we can have them around for long so we can enjoy this amazing food and people.like they say sometimes you have to study the location you about to do business at cause even if what you got is the best if you not at the right location or not getting the right support from the local it can be hard.good luck to them and hopefully they will remain for the longest and get the support that...
Read moreMy NEW FAVORITE RESTAURANT! 🥳🥳🥳🥳 Simple, clean, bright inside. The menu offers so many options, you can't go wrong. Super friendly service. Absolutely delicious food featuring famous dishes from the Ivory Coast 🇨🇮🇨🇮🇨🇮🇨🇮 that will not disappoint. The meat was tender, juicy, and flavorful. I got the beef brochettes which were perfectly grilled and skewered with crunchy sweet onion and orange bell pepper pieces. All the portions were generous and packed well in plastic and styrofoam to-go containers. I loved my side of fried sweet plantains (alloco) which were succulent and charred just right. My other side of crinkle cut fries stayed crispy and hot. Initially, I was sad to find out the jollof rice was not ready yet, as the man told me it would still be another hour. He said he was making fufu first. It was understandable listening to his whole process and we both laughed at how the best dishes in life take such a long time to cook. ☺️ I was already excited about my food regardless, so this was no big deal. I also knew I would be a returning customer as I sat and waited at a table. The smells were phenomenal, and the men talking and cooking together seemed to really love what they were doing. I also enjoyed the hibiscus drink which had a very refreshing touch due to the fresh taste of mint🌱 Also, they accept Google wallet/Apple Pay which is convenient👍 ...Can't wait to come...
Read moreMy husband and I alongside our 11 months old baby went to Naperville for a pickleball tournament (we’re from out of state). We decided to get a take out that was close to our hotel. Saw the positive reviews here, figured we’d give it a try.
As a side note, both of us are Deaf and use sign language to communicate. The owner there was friendly and was willing to be patient with us as we made our orders. We opted for water as we didn’t really want to order anything else aside from the food. The owner was insistent that we had to try their bon bon tea and gave it to us on the house. We were grateful for his hospitality and the drink was absolutely delicious.
The menu was limited that night so we opted for beef and chicken skewers. The chicken skewers were made to perfection. It’s hard to come across juicy chicken that’s cooked fully anywhere else.
When the food was ready, the owner was kind and carried the food out to the car for us while my husband carried our baby and I handled the stroller. A sweet guy.
If we had lived nearby, this would’ve been our frequent spot.
Alas, we don’t live there and want to leave a review here so to encourage others to give this place a try!
Clean, friendly owner, drool-worthy food, thirst quenching tea. You can’t...
