Bruster's Real Ice Cream — Restaurant in Little Elm

I had been wanting to try this i’ve cream for months! I go by at 9:45 PM last night, I had looked online at the menu prior to arriving. When I arrive I see what appears to be a teenager and a woman preparing an order, her back was facing me. The neon sign says open, there’s a bell to ring for service. I push it, she doesn’t flinch, I wait, push it again receive the same response. I assume it doesn’t work since she never looks back acknowledges anyone is at the window, the teen looks up but also doesn’t acknowledge I am at the window. This is now roughly 4-6 minutes standing at the window in cold weather without being acknowledged. I knock on the window, at that point she looks up without acknowledging me. Common courtesy would’ve been to a knowledge a customer letting them know you will be with them shortly. By the time she does come to the window several minutes later you’d think there would’ve been a greeting possible apologizing for the wait.. not at all. Everything I attempted to order she says they do not have, everything was I was asking for was seasonal. I let her know I saw these sundaes available to order online. She proceeds to say she has been working all day is tired and refused me service. I asked for her name she says she is the general manager Diana. If she is a manager she I hope she takes some courses on customer service and leadership. I do...

This is the best Ice Cream place I have ever been to. First, their Customer Service is immaculate. When I came up to that window, there was no wait at all, and a kind lady opened the window and asked for my order. I wasn’t ready yet so she waited for me. When I ordered my ice cream, which, by the way, Was only $5 for 2 gigantic premium scoops??? In this economy? What a good deal. Anyway, my card declined, but she kept on trying, even bringing in her coworker. Just in case it was a problem on their end. Fortunately though, my friend payed for my ice cream. I had only sat down at their outdoor seating area for no more than 30 seconds when my ice cream was ready. Let me tell you this was the best ice cream I have had in my life. I got Red Velvet Cake Batter and birthday cake. I would attach a photo but there wouldn’t even be enough time for a camera to capture how fast I ate that stuff up. This ice cream was stretching at least 2 inches. This is no cheap walmart Half Gallon bucket of ice cream that you buy for $7 and is hard as a rock. This is the BEST ice cream place I have ever been and yes l am saying that twice in this review and you know what what about it. It needed to be said. Last week was my first time using this location( i was used to the one on Stacey Rd in Mckinney, but unfortunately, they closed). I could not place my order over the phone( which I get, most places will send you to their websites). I have moved from Mckinney to Arlington and every time i get an opportunity to come to the area, I used to call in my order ( 1 quart) and they would hard freeze it for me and when I get there, I would pay and use my rewards if any. I had forgotten the word"hard freeze" when I was placing my order so, i put on the instruction that I needed it to be put in the feezer because I was coming from Arlington, it was not. Today I have been trying to place an order (as I will be in the area) but i am unable to use my points.
