Domingo is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we felt the warmth of a family-owned kitchen that’s all about love, flavor, and tradition.
We ordered the Sopecitos (SO GOOD… piled high with flavor!), the creamy Queso Dip, and the perfectly seasoned Esquites… every bite was a hit. For mains, we devoured the Enfrijoladas, and wrapped it all up with both Tres Leches Cake and Churros… yes, we went all in, and it was 100% worth it.
Our kids loved it too! They had the Taquitos and Chicken Quesadilla from the kids menu, and cleared their plates with big smiles. Everything was fresh, not too spicy, and made just right for them.
The menu has some super unique recipes you don’t see at most Mexican spots, and the quality is fantastic. You can tell this is home cooking inspired by generations of love.
The service was just as memorable… friendly, fast, and full of heart.
What really makes this place special is the story behind it. Domingo (Sunday) is the most important day for their family — a time to laugh, share stories, and gather around a home-cooked meal. That spirit fills the whole restaurant… it’s not just a place to eat, it’s a place to feel at home.
If you’re looking for authentic, made-with-love Mexican food in a cozy, welcoming space… this is your spot.
Favorites: Sopecitos, Queso Dip, Esquites, Enfrijoladas, Tres Leches, Churros, and the kids loved their Taquitos and Quesadilla too!

Read moreCame in for the first time and was not a big fan. The quality of the meals were decent at best, and the queso was blocky and thick which was a waste. Quesabirria and the salsa were actually pretty good. The service was great up until the end. Our biggest issue was when we decided to order an Horchata thinking it would be good. Not only did it look like the powdered mix with water (100% not authentic), it had somewhat of an old/bitter aftertaste. We ordered two and asked if we could switch for soda cans, which they provided no problem. When we asked for the check we did notice that there was a charge for one of the Horchata’s. When we asked about it and mentioned we had switched, the answer was, “Well, you drank a little bit of it so that’s why we only charged for one.” The girl saw me just smile and shake my head then proceeded to ask “Is that okay?” Can’t even lie I took two sips and let me wife take one to taste it which was a horrible excuse from them. Had I drink half the damn cup cool, but again it was barely touched 😂 If only I could’ve taken a photo, but of course they took both the glasses from the table so we couldn’t even finish the drink they charged me for. It was only $3, but still I have never had an issue with something like this. It’s so petty of them to charge me for a drink they knew I barley touched. I rarely ever leave bad reviews, but being that petty over $3 is wild. Will 100% not recommend this...
Read moreThis best kept secret needs to be shouted about from the rooftops! Domingo Kitchen is worth the drive (if you do not live in the Little Elm / Frisco area). I'm very particular about my food --Mexican in particular. One of the disappointments in moving to TX is that what is often termed "Mexican food" rarely is legitimate; more likely than not it's "Tex-Mex" (something I avoid like the plague). Domingo Kitchen is most definitely not Tex-Mex! This is the sort of food you find at abuela's house. Want proof? Name one Mexican restaurant that serves tacos de jamaica. Domingo Kitchen has it on its daily menu. The tacos transported me to when I stop and buy tacos from Doña Cata outside el Parque de Chapultepec. Don't waste your time going to the "big name" places that claim to serve Mexican food. You want legitimate Mexican food served in a family friendly place by a friendly and helpful staff (they go out of their way to serve you), then get to Domingo Kitchen as fast as you can get there. EVERYTHING I've ordered has been delicious! And don't forget to order el agua de jamaica (perfectly balanced between tart and sweet) and el panque de naranja (dessert). Trust me, you will not regret dining at...
