Little Elm Tacos — Restaurant in Little Elm

Writing this in hopes your experience is better than mine. To start off the drink machine was out so we had to pay for drinks additionally, but the prices are very affordable so I’ll give them that. Next the ordering system is messed up, you pay at the register/front, where no notes can be put on your order for the cook, then walk over the actual counter and hand your receipt over to the cook. Then the cook himself makes no notes once you hand him your receipt, so you hope he remembers how you want your order done. I asked for no jalapeños as the meal was for a child but all the jalapeños were given to us, so a big thank you to Little Elm Taqueria as the meal could not be eaten or enjoyed at all. Taco was good, service was horrible. Ordered breakfast taco(s) online but apparently when I selected bacon quantity 2 and chorizo quantity 2, that wasn't how many tacos, rather what meat i wanted on the taco, not sure why there was a quantity button there. I can accept that as my fault, but they really made me feel stupid over it. After I realized I had only paid for 1 taco, I said just 1 bacon was fine, at which point the two female workers stepped a few away and started laughing and making faces while gesturing at my receipt and towards me. I don't know what they were saying, but it made me feel very disrespected. My bacon taco came up, he sealed it up and passed it over. Little Elm Tacos is located inside a gas station store. You figure out what you’ll order from their menu, then you pay at the gas station cashier. Fountain drinks are included with the taco plate, so you can grab something to drink while waiting.

For our 1st time, we opted for al pastor and beef steak taco plates! I was SO IMPRESSED with the portions and how they didn’t skimp on any meat or toppings! We also tried loaded fries with al pastor and 1 barbacoa taco—everything was flavorful!! Super happy with our visit and food!!
