I recently visited Towers Tap House located at 290 E Eldorado Pkwy in Little Elm, TX, and I must say it was a good experience. This place truly knows how to impress beer enthusiasts and food lovers alike.
One of the highlights of Towers Tap House is undoubtedly their excellent selection of drinks. Whether you're a craft beer connoisseur or simply looking to try something new, this place has got you covered. They offer an extensive variety of both local and international brews, ensuring that there's something to suit every taste. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to offer recommendations or help you find the perfect beer to pair with your meal.
Speaking of meals, the food at Towers Tap House is equally impressive. I had the pleasure of trying their nachos and wings, and they were absolutely delicious. The nachos were loaded with flavorful toppings, including a generous amount of melted cheese, fresh salsa, guacamole, and sour cream. Each bite was a perfect combination of crunch and savory goodness. The wings were cooked to perfection, with a delightful crispy exterior and tender, juicy meat inside. The sauce options provided an excellent range of flavors, from mild to hot and spicy.
One of the things I particularly enjoyed about Towers Tap House was their outdoor seating area. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, with comfortable seating arrangements and a pleasant ambiance. It was a great place to enjoy the lovely Texas weather while savoring a cold beer and some tasty food. The staff was attentive and made sure that all guests were well taken care of, even during peak hours.
The overall experience at Towers Tap House was fantastic. The combination of a great beer selection, delicious food, and enjoyable outdoor seating made for a memorable visit. Whether you're looking for a casual hangout spot with friends or a place to unwind after a long day, this place definitely delivers. I highly recommend checking out Towers Tap House if you're in the Little Elm area and looking for a top-notch beer and...
Read moreWe decided to go here around 2pm on a Saturday. We were welcomed right in and wanted to sit outside. There was not any seating but we decided to sit at the bar. As soon as we sat down a table opened up.
This is where we got irritated. We sat there for 20 minutes and watched the waitress run around table to table but didn't even bring us water. At this point we were out. I could tell they were short staffed but the husband doesn't have patience. We went inside and decided to let the manager know how long we waited before we walked out.
Chad was extremely apologetic and insisted we stayed and he buy us lunch. We honestly were going to leave and I was going to leave a nasty review on Yelp. Well he was so persistent we agreed to stay. Everyone deserves a second chance after all.
We ordered a couple of drinks, a street taco and nachos. The drinks were tasty and made well. The nachos were actually really good and came with grilled peppers and onions. The street taco meat was seasoned well and they didn't screw up the corn tortilla. I was only missing the salsa verde but didn't ask for some since this is not a street taco stand. Overall the food was good and better than bar quality.
Service started rough, really rough but Chad the managers ended up being the owner and took excellent care of us. He would NOT allow us to pay for anything, not even the alcohol. I can relate to being short staffed and his hospitality made up for the hiccups in the beginning. We insisted on him at least charging us for the street taco so we could leave a tip (we didn't have cash) and he wouldn't have it. He simply asked for us to come back.
I'm one to support small businesses especially when they own up to short comings and attempt to make up for them. Chad went above and beyond! He truly cares about his customers and we will be back!
Thank you again Chad...
Read moreI know it's bar food, and you should be drunk to eat it, but I don't drink, even when I did this wouldn't have been a choice more than once. The nachos were underwhelming, the shrimp tacos were a joke, smallest shrimp I ever saw, honestly could not even taste the shrimp and completely over priced. Basically corn tortillas, and cilantro...trash. The blackened chicken sandwich was dry, bland, and plain, terrible choice. The waitress brought my companion a red beer in a gaucho glass. No ice, no salt rim, no lime, the tomato sauce was okay...piss poor. The shrimp batter was so salty, disgusting, not edible. Oh wait the catfish was about average for catfish. The tartar sauce was not my cup of tea, to be honest after seeing the color and finish I didn't even try it. There was one good thing, although undercooked in the middle, but the taste was there, without further adieu: drum roll please, the hush puppies were superior, excellent balance of heat and seasoning. That's a whole lot of items to have an off day on. I live 5 hrs away, but I don't think I would return if I lived across the street, and they were having free food. The service, well she tried, but by the looks of her, she has been hung over for years possibly decades. Dry out, find a new way to live. Lackluster service, probably a series of bad choices, but there is still hope, not at the restaurant. Big party and had to leave gratuity. The tables were dirty and crusty...so I had to return the atmosphere to 1 star. The bath rooms smell like piss that should have been cleaned up, and the door does not lock on the men's stall. This was on a Friday for lunch, btw, but I do not believe it would make a difference, probably gets worse as the day turns to...
