Iām somewhat of a foodie. Travelled all over the country and kind of settled down in Arkansas. Now in general Arkansas lacks good food compared to literally anywhere else innthe country/world, I honestly feel like this state missed the lesson on seasoning and how salt brings out flavor. My wife and I have came to the River Market area numerous times over the past 3 years and we never noticed this place was here until google maps showed it, we immediately went to check it out without reading any reviews. We got the Buenos Aires for 2. It was absolutely amazing. The chimichurri here, in my opinion, is one of the best Iāve had in the nation. And I mean the nation from California to New York. The steaks were seasoned to perfection and they were cooked to temp perfectly. I usually donāt leave reviews on places unless they are amazing or completely horrible. Prior to posting this I saw some negative reviews in regards to the service here, and being as someone who has travelled this country and many others, I understand you canāt make all the karens happy all the time. I can say that if you are looking for a break from the bland, regurgitated food that Arkansas offers this place is for you. Unlike many others that have tried you get a good sense of culture here as well. Such a breath of fresh air to find a place in Arkansas that actually offers good food rather than unseasoned country food that was made for people who have to watch their salt intake. And good on them for not falling into the Arkansas filet mignon...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHave been here about 3 times or so while traveling to Little Rock for work. The food is overall flavorful considering it is an āArgentineanā restaurant in Little Rock, AR š. If this restaurant was in Miami or NY, the expectation would be a lot higher and they wouldnāt make it. But itās overall decent - even though 2/3 times my steak was cooked more than what I requested. My main gripe is the service, which is why I probably wonāt return my next business trip. Every time Iāve came, Iāve only been spoken to WHILE ORDERING. Despite sitting at the bar, near the register and it being empty. The waitresses and relatives (or friends) of whoever owns the place, congregate in the corner of the bar and talk/giggle amongst themselves (or just stare), like theyāve never seen anyone try to eat a meal. Once I order, Iām never spoken to again, checked on, asked how anything is, asked if I need anything - nothing. Until I request my check, get up to leave and then thereās a simple ābyeā or āthanksā. Itās never a welcoming, comfortable time. I decided to return a few times because thereās not a lot of options in Little Rock unless youāre wanting heavy soul or standard American food. Not to mention, everyone and every business has āthose daysā. But after overhearing conversations, it leads me to believe thatās just the dynamic of the staff. I will settle for chipotle next time. Thank goodness Iām usually only in town for a day or 2. The extra star is for the reasonability of the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI seriously love this restaurant. Everything I've tried has been just phenomenonal so far. I always get the chicken empanadas. But all of them are great, favorites included green onion & cheese empanada & caprese empanada. This time I tired the grilled chicken & mashed potatoes, it came with chimichurri sauce and OMG! Delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly, juicy, flavorful. The red peppers were lovely addition (just wish I had more on my entree). I'm a sucker for amazing mashed potatoes and this was one so creamy & tasty. What made this dish compete was definitely that chimichurri sauce. Again one of the best I've had in a long long long time. I can taste the fresh ingredients, garlic, parsely. Wow. Ofcourse you WILL NOT be disappointed trying this place. I am excited to eat here each time I come into Little Rock.
Ambiance is great also. Lots of outdoor seating, indoors looks small but cozy. Bar area, with seating in that area. Drinks ofcourse. Service is great each time. I've only ate at the bar once, I mostly do take outs. But they have never disappointed a take out meal. My pic doesn't do it justice. It's tasty! I wish I took pics of the empanadas. They're gorgeous. But you can see other people's & they look exactly that good each time. Prices aren't bad for good quality...
