We got a wild hair the other day and wandered into the big city! Our firs stop was the William E. “Bill” Clark Presidential Park Wetlands: a 13-acre restoration project along the Arkansas River, adjacent to the Clinton Presidential Library in downtown Little Rock. Created through collaboration among The City of Little Rock, Audubon Arkansas, and other key partners, it's a vibrant habitat showcasing wildlife for visitors to the presidential library and downtown Little Rock.
It's an easy and peaceful walk and a good addition to your visit to the presidential library.

Read moreReally love this huge park! There are 4 trails around the area. I could also walk my dog around and bring it to the nostalgia steel bridge for a walk too. At the beginning of the bridge, there is a dog station that you can get the poop bags for usage too. A lot of cyclists 🚴♀️ back and forth on the bridge, so do leash your pet when walking there. Very breezy and green at sight. The parking is huge and can accommodate many vehicles. A lot of scenic places to take pictures and a very nice Bill Clinton...
Read moreThis is a great area stretching from the Bill Clinton presidential library going all the way near the river and the restaurants/shops on the same road bearing his name.
It is a great area with lots of birds singing their heart out even on a cold day and which has been reclaimed from nature due to being flooded so many times in the past.
