Update: I was able to talk with the manager he was very service focused and acknowledged my concerns. I think that is also part of service and for that I am upgrading my review. Thank you again!
I want to start by saying I hate giving low reviews. I am traveling from out of town and and decided to give this place a try.
I had a short wait, the waiter who primary worked on Togo orders that are being picked up sat me at a table. I then waited about 15 mins and a lady asked if Iāve been helped. Up to this point things were okay.
I place my order and she then asks if Iād like a drink. I say yes, and I try to find the options on the menuā¦. They arenāt listed. They have a separate menu that she never provided. She starts listing off water, tea, lemonade, not considering I may want an adult beverage. She says all of this in a very condescending way. I asks for a semi sweet tea. She come back gives it to me with plastic wear for a Togo meal.
A little while later, a family comes in. Well dressed, with a small puppy. Very posh. She seats them behind me, her tone is different, she brings them chopsticks and regular utensils. (I guess I looked like I didnāt know how to use them so thatās why I got the Togo utensils).
She never brings me my food and brings their order out 10 mins before I even received anything. I finally got my food from the Togo server I might add. The food was great⦠Iāll talk about that separately. Despite all of this, I am pretty easy going. I wait about 15 min for her to bring my check and check me out. I asked her if I could have a refill of the teaā¦. š she looks me dead in the eyes with the most annoyed face, picks up a picture of water and pours it into my glass.
I gave her a $4.97 tip. Just because. My meal was $33.00. If she was just kindā¦. I would have given her at least a $10.00 tip.
The rolls that I ordered was the crawfish roll and a specialty roll I canāt remember the name and the seaweed salad. The salad, to me, just wasnāt my thing. The rolls...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLet me begin by saying that EVERY aspect of this restaurant has the extreme potential of being excellent- but it seems like EVERYTHING was just a smidge "off". I am saddened by the simple things that took this meal from 4-5 star, to a 3. I wholeheartedly WISH someone would adjust these LITTLE things. I would love to return in a few months and see it become the best restaurant of its class. Atmosphere is lively, but not too loud, at least not on a Sunday afternoon. Rock and roll is the genre.

Food- presentation is very nice. I made it a point to ask about the seaweed salad balance- and opted out because there is more spring salad than seaweed. Managers/ owners should definitely consider offering a larger portion seaweed salad option. Tuna Tataki is very nice. Tuna steaks slices with tangy, sesame flavor. Good enough to order again, but not "The best". Sashimi salad.... it's so well balanced that as a whole, it's disappointing. Even the ginger sauce was just "balanced". It's nice, good flavor, but so far, nothing screams out. Oh!!! Wait!!! All the flavor was under all the salad... This would have been so great... but all the vinaigrette had sunk. A change of plate might help so much. And I'm certain the vinaigrette was placed BEFORE the fish. šš¤¦āāļøš¤¦āāļøš¤¦āāļø
Most of the time, I complain about food not being seasoned well with salt, however, this time, I believe there might be a lack of pepper/bite/ spice.
Habachi chicken and fried rice- was LUKEWARM. š” I let the waitress/ manager/ shift lead???? Know, and they took my dish back--- waited 5 minutes, and BROUGHT ME THE SAME PLATE Y'ALL!!! THE FOOD WAS IN THE EXACT SAME POSITION AS WHEN I SENT IT!!! š”š”š”
She did offer not to charge for that meal- but I refused. I don't want to pay less. I want GREAT FOOD. Ok.. I'm done. No pics, I'm going to sit here and try to enjoy the meal I could've gotten ANYWHERE.

I travel a lot for work- Iām an area director for a large franchise, and a creature of habit. So when I find something I like, I tend to stick to it. If you scroll you can even see my last review FROM 2021 when I found you.
So when I moved to Little Rock, I was so excited to be close to not only a RockNRoll sushi, but to this specific one!! Last week was the first time Iāve been to this location since I moved, and after today, I probably wonāt be back. This is probably the WORST customer service Iāve ever experienced as a customer ANYWHERE. I sat at the bar for 15 minutes and not a SINGLE word was said to me. No drink. No āhey weāre short staffed give me just a minuteā nothing. When there was about 4 people (not together) waiting at the door, a server finally went over to them and told them it would be a while before she could get to them because they were backed up. Iām in food and bev. I get it. Stuff happens. People donāt show up/call out whatever. But to completely ignore not only me, but the other people at the bar as well for over 15 minutes is unacceptable. I tried getting the girls attention, just to get a drink while I waited. Completely ignored. One girl had to get up, walk over to the sushi bar and as the 3 people working over there for ice. And when she finally gets the ice, leaves it on the bar top for the customer to get back up and get it.
Not to mention, that because of where this location is, you have to pay for parking. So I paid for my 2hours of parking to be completely ignored and basically denied service, and left without food, a drink, or even a hello.
I get it stuff happens, but...
