Porfido's Market & Deli — Restaurant in Littleton

Lady with the blonde hair was very rude to me tonight. I go in there once a month due to a LOCAL check I get.. been cashing those checks at Porfidos for 2 years now and Frankie has cashed me out a few times and others have to. However I went in there tonight, she looked at it and told me it wasn't local.. only thing I said was that frankie cashed it few times before and he approved it.. she rudely cut me off being arrogant to say to me "I'm sorry that people here have told you many stories giving you the wrong impression but we don't accept local checks here" but just the fact that she had to say I was "told many stories" just to brush off whatever else I possibly have to explain to her... she's rude, arrogant, and bc of her attitude and rudeness she done lost a customers on my behalf and my friends & family who have ALSO brought to my attention about the same treatment from the same woman. We have been buying our meat here for awhile because it is honestly some of the best around. You can tell when you are cooking the ground beef that it is fresh, it just smells better. I have never had a bad experience here. The pre-made food like the pizzas are incredible and its so easy to grab one to bake at home as well.

The staff here really is great as well. The last time I came in I had done our weekly meat shopping and started looking for the gift card I had, I couldnt find it even after searching my car. I paid with my debit card and than frantically searched across town for it. After finding it the cashier was kind enough after seeing my obvious distress to refund my debit card and put it on the gift card.

That alone sealed the deal for me and we will be back for delicious pizzas, great quality meats and...

The place is super nice looking on the outside and the prices are pretty fair for quick food, but don’t get the burgers, I got a patty that was 2/3rds the size of the bun black burnt and hard, I brought it back in to show the cashier and explain that I cannot eat this, didn’t even ask for a refund because that’s how these things work when it comes to a mom and pop shop, she seemed irritated that I even brought it back in for her to deal with, on my way out the cashier wanted get the last word in with a snarky remark regarding my “attitude” as I’m walking out, super professional, I think this place is awesome besides that one interaction the chicken I got after was good but the younger middle aged woman running the cash register you suck and, You need to change your attitude you have a bad...
