I have been having issues with my Red Robin Rewards. Every time I go in, I am told I have "X" amount of points towards my free meal. The number of points I have on my Rewards account never changes. I have reached out to an email I received for a survey. I received an email back regarding my survey. I mentioned our Rewards Issue. The agent advised, via email, the phone number we needed to use for our rewards moving forward. We went into the restaurant that evening and guess what? That number didn't work. We had been using another number prior so we tried that one. That one didn't work either. We asked to speak to the manager to see if we can get this resolved. She came out and explained that there is a possibility that someone else is using the old number as well and they might be using the points that we are building up. All good so far. She offers a Gift card for our next meal for a free burger. She then asks for the two phone numbers used and advises she will look into it and "text" me back later in the week. We leave satisfied that something is being done. A week passes. I still have not heard from this manager. We decided to order to go as it was a long day and did not want to eat there. Guess what? Our number didn't work. I asked to talk to the manager. The "Runner" went in to get her. After sitting in our car for about 10-15 minutes, the Runner comes out and says the manager on duty is the same manager we spoke to last week and she said "If I wanted to talk to her, I would have to come in". I go in and wait another 10 minutes or so. Meanwhile we were given our meals the first time the Runner came out. She finally arrives and said, "Neither phone number works." I asked why I never heard from her as she said she would let us know what is going on. She said she was unable to text either phone number nor are either numbers in their system. (If a text didn't work, why wouldn't she try to dial and call?) She was unable to produce the phone number she tried. She then told me that I have to talk to "Cooperate". My take on it is she tried both numbers and neither one was active for some reason and she did nothing further. She then told me that there is nothing further that she could do and she has already given me three free meals. I advised that she has only given me the one gift card. She said she can pull up my number and see what she has given me. I asked her how she can pull up my number if she just told me that we didn't have a number in the system. She began yelling at me and through her hands in the air and said "I'm done?". I asked for her name and she just walked away. I asked a girl that worked at the pick up window for the managers name and she said, "I don't know, If she didn't give it to you, I'm not going to." The fact that she gave me a gift card is not a fix. I never asked her for anything free. I asked for my issue to be resolved. If she couldn't do it, she should not promise to contact me and never do. The fact that she escalated this to a screaming match in the lobby of the restaurant is absurd and embarrassing. I still cannot use my Rewards. Why is there a program to Promote business that doesn't work and why is there a manager that cannot fix an issue and or keep her promises. If she would have reached out to me and said she cannot do anything, but she has reached out to someone who can, I could accept that. Very unprofessional. I hope someone with Red Robin reads this and takes action with this manager as her customer service is good when things are running well. Not so good at solving issues. Throwing Red Robin money at the problem is not the solution and it's obviously not good for the bottom line of...
Read moreUpon arriving, the host barely greeted us or looked us in the eye. After ordering the spinach artichoke dip, the manager personally came to us and told us that they were out of artichoke dip but that she would buy us an appetizer to make up for it. This was really nice, and we were quite grateful for it. It was personal and more than made up for the disappointment. We ordered the pretzel bites which neither of us had had before, but they were honestly quite disgusting. The sauce is advertized as being a beer cheese sauce, but it looked and tasted like slightly rotten mayo. Next we ordered our entreés. Luckily my boyfriend enjoyed his chicken wrap, but I had to send my clam chowder soup back because it wasn’t even lukewarm—it was straight up cold, making me wonder how old it was or even if it was just dumped out of a can and put in the microwave for ten seconds. Furthermore, the soup is supposed to come with garlic bread which looked burnt when I finally got it after bringing it up to our waitress. The manager said it’s supposed to look like that because it’s a prosciutto, but if that’s the case, they should advertise it as that on the menu instead of just calling it garlic bread which to most people and restaurants is soft and not crispy with charred bits. Finally, the dessert we ordered, the Sugar Doh! rings tasted like nothing but the cheap canola oil they probably use to cook them. The only sort of good part about them was the chocolate sauce which tasted like a Snack Pack pudding cup. Good—but not great. We asked our waitress (who was the only not terrible part of the whole evening) to bring over the manager. This is when the manager finally brought out my garlic bread. The first thing she said is that we should have told her sooner about the bread. It seemed friendly enough I guess but more felt like she was blaming us for the mistake of her staff. It shouldn’t have happened in the first place especially considering this was the third time something went wrong with our order. If I go back to Red Robin, it won’t to this one, and I’ll stick to ordering burgers. This was the Red Robin on...
Read moreWe have been visiting this location for years, almost every week. The food and service have been great until recently. In June we visited with out of town family and were seated in the bar area. I don't like sitting there because it usually is a lot slower and the regular server is not friendly. After waiting for our food for half an hour without any update we asked about it. Server was rude. Said sarcastically "sorry you had to wait 10 minutes." No. I checked the time. It was 30 minutes. We spoke with the manager. She apologized, recognized us as regulars, and gave us a free appetizer coupon. I told her I don't like sitting in the bar but at least half the time that's where we are put. She says tell them you don't want to sit there. Fine. Since we've been going there so long we will try again. The next visit the hostess tried to sit us in the bar and I told her we don't want to sit there. She said they dont have any servers anywhere else. The entire restaurant side was unavailable. I told her we will go somewhere else. She magically found a server and seated us on the restaurant side. Last night we again were told that we could only sit in the bar, by the manager who was working the host table. The same manager who told us to let them know we didn't want to sit in the bar. I told her we will go somewhere else and she said okay. We went to Buffalo Wild Wings and had a great time. So we've decided to end our weekly Red Robin visits. There are so many restaurant options nearby and being treated like crap isn't necessary. They are apparently understaffed and the rude server in the bar is often the only option. It wasn't always like this and we've had great servers over the years who have gotten to know us. We are always polite, not demanding, and tip at least 30%. It actually hurts my feelings that we aren't valued enough to be seated anywhere besides the bar/rude server/tall chairs that...
