My experiences with Starbucks literally is keeping me awake not only for being so bad but because Starbucks is among the companies that have gone on the attack for complaining about the company.
I have had many problems with Starbucks over the years and have legitimately called the toll-free number so many times that my number has been blocked.
A related issue to my horrible experience yesterday is that I foolishly continue to pursue bonus offers. I spent roughly 20 total for 4 orders in an hour to get 100 bonus points that did have a $50 value in terms of that amount but still represented half of the points that I need for an $8 Frappuccino. In other words, I spent $20 for a $4 benefit.
Two of the orders were mobile ones, and the other two were at the counter.
My first time at the counter, a tall guy wearing a mask was milling around behind the counter for several minutes before helping me. I, like many customers, hesitate to be labelled a Karen by speaking up. He finally came right to the register and took my order.
I ordered a chocolate croissant and asked that it be kept in the plastic bag because I did not want to eat it then. This was a very difficult concept for the guy getting it. A lesser issue was the store being out of the small shopping bags with the handles.
I noticed on leaving the store that the trash in the condiments area was overflowing but a few employees were doing nothing behind the counter.
On returning 30 minutes later, I saw the same tall guy standing in the doorway of the kitchen area holding two ice scoops and chatting with another employee. He saw me and continued gabbing.
There was a woman standing near the second register, but she did not say anything. I figured that only the tall guy was working the register.
I again patiently was waiting for help when I heard the other woman behind the register ask a woman who came up to it if she could help her.
I then said just a hair more harshly than intended that I was next. The woman at the register did take my order. I twice apologized to the other customer, who validly could have thought that I was being taken care of. The tall guy continued holding the ice scoops and gabbing in the doorway.
It was clear both times that I was at the register that I was waiting for help.
As indicated above, this one really hits home in that customers must not only endure employees literally not doing their jobs but receive lifetime punishments for...
Read moreAug 19,2025. I just visited the Starbucks Littleton MA, The Point. A very disapointing experience. I would have preferred to discuss directly with the district manager but I understand you need to get this info from the store. Well that won't work. My story. It was 6:30 pm or so. I ordered a Pike's in a mug with the plan to get a refill. At approximately 7 pm I noticed they were shutting down the coffee machine. Note, they close at 8 pm. I approached for a refill and was told, sorry no. They could give me an Americano to which I replied I did not like the Americano. I went on to state my displeasure that they stopped serving coffee 1 hr before closing. That is ridiculous. I probably swore ( my apologies). I did not yell. I did not raise my voice. But I am sure I could be heard by others. I did express my displeasure on more than one occasion. I sat down and finished my coffee, continuing to grumble my displeasure. Never was i rude to an employee. After finishing my coffee ( about 15 minutes) I left. As I was walking to my car the young man (employee) poked his head out the door and said he was going to write up an incident report and I probably would not be welcome there anymore. I stated I too would like to write an incident report to which he quickly shut the door. Well, here's my incident report. Starbucks is struggling. I wonder why. No coffee 1 hr before closing. Hmm. Employees stating customers who express displeasure are not welcome. Hmm. As a loyal customer and shareholder ( for many, many years) i sincerely ask, please change. Signed, an unwelcome...
Read moreDon't go to this starbucks. Maybe it's worth it if you have the app and do the order over the app, but they have six people behind the counter and every single one is working on app orders. No one takes the counter orders.
Today all I wanted was a pike place regular coffee with cream. The coffee was weak (tasted like tea), and for some reason they add the cream (they don't let you do it) and it was over filled and pretty much all cream and no actual coffee. I asked for another cup, and they gave me ... the EXACT same thing even after they said there was an issue with the beans. How difficult is it to do a regular coffee with cream? And why can't I pour my own cream?
I'd also asked for egg bites, but they never took my name, and after waiting for ages, I canceled the order. I'm pretty sure it was never placed.
I live within walking distance and I will never...
