Come here often for their lunch buffet since I can walk from my office. Overall the place has a dated look, but is large and offers a decent selection of vegetarian items for their buffet. The food overall tends to be a little greasier (for my taste) then other Asian/Chinese buffets in the area, but its cheap so I can't complain. We have been going to Yangtze River for several years to eat the buffet and for take out. We really love the staff, the food and the convenience. The owner is always onsite, ready to help in any way. The takeout food is fresh and portions are generous, no half-filled containers from these guys!! You cannot beat the quality, quantity and price you get from The Yangtze River restaurant. Food is good if you can look past the uncleanliness. Starting from the parking lot, the curbs are completely torn up from plowing and are a tripping hazard. The interior doesn't look like it has been updated since 1977. The vents in the ceiling are completely black and look like they have never been cleaned. Both toilets in the bathroom were leaking from the base and the way the issue was remedied was by putting towels on the floor; by the smell of it, they have been there for weeks.
