Worst customer service experience ever!! This location is full of teenagers who have no experience in customer service. I go to smoothie king almost every day and this has by far been the worst experience ever. So I went last night at 9:56 an the doors were locked mind you they are open until 10 PM. The two young girls working in there ignored me standing there to get in when they closed early. A customer that was inside left and I went inside asked politely if I could have a smoothie still made she mad a face and said what time is it I stated 9:58 an she said yes. Upset, I can tell they were trying to wrap it up early. The girl makes my smoothie mind you she is staring at the recipe for a minute as if she has never made this shake before slim and trim chocolate with peanut butter. An I get my smoothie leave and I am almost the BAMC medical center and I taste my smoothie because I like to let it melt just a tad and there was no peanut butter it tasted horrible more water down. I call today to complain since I threw my drink away. Mind you I go every day almost the bulverde and 1604 and never have a issue. The girl who claims she is a manager at this love oak location told me sorry she can't fix this problem. I should have went back mind you by this time is was after 10pm and they already didnt want to open the doors at 956 PM let alone after they closed. An she stated as of smoothie king policy I needed to go back that night or call. Which I did call and it never got answered. This is my far the worst smoothie king in san Antonio. The managements lacking professionalism and the common sense to know a customer is going to knock a door down after closing hours or drive back 6miles to get ignored at the door. Read moreI've been to this location a few times and had no issues till today. I am a fan of Smoothie King, but the ONE-star rating is for CUSTOMER SERVICE. Did we need to remember customer service etiquette in a customer service environment? How about listening when confirming an order to get it right the first time?
I was beyond disappointed with the customer service today. I'm not too fond of confrontation when someone twists my words before me. I repeated my order twice, and both times it was acknowledged.
Simple order, nothing complicated; it was for two smoothies (20oz, upgrade to 32oz) since it's "Upgrade FRIDAY" and a 32oz upgrade to 40oz. I repeated the order two times, and he confirmed. When we reviewed my order twice, there was no correction or clarification on "ONLY a 20oz QUALIFIES for an upgrade to 32oz". I found this out after I received both smoothes.
Surprisingly, I received 20oz and 32oz; I asked why when I ordered a 20oz upgrade to 32oz and a 32oz upgrade to 40oz. He mentioned you needed to be more specific about the upgrade. Aaaaah, wth! I confirmed both orders with the word UPGRADE. You said okay both times. He explained the 32oz does not qualify, which I now understand after the fact, but still...how about the 20oz I asked for an upgrade?
I asked if it could be redone, and I'll pay the difference. He said no, and just stared at me. I was in SHOCK and didn't have the patience, so I grabbed my smoothies and left. What in the world is customer service coming to? I should've just placed my usual order and used my rewards which is MORE than the one-dollar-off upgrade. Read moreI visit here all the time. At least once a month. Came in and got the same two smoothies I always get for my wife and I. They hand them to me, and my wife's is literally only 75 full. Okay whatever. Go to my vehicle, and notice mine is sloshing around like it's mostly water. I have a grocery order I picked up and had frozen items so I need to get home. I just think, if there is something wrong with it I'll just call them. I get home 5 min later, take my first sip and boy....it was like drinking flavored water. Literally no texture, and it was hardly cold. I had noticed that one of the employees was measuring water for smoothies, and I almost wonder if they had no ice and were using water instead. Tasted awful. My wife threw hers away. I let my kids have mine because you know, kids don't care. I call and explain the texture and tase issues. I ask if they were made differently, and she doesnt answer. They tell me I have to be back there by 8 with more than half the smoothies for a remake. I tell them that ain't happening. All I get is an "I'm sorry." So I pay 16$ and gas (ummm it's expensive right now) for nothing. Literally won't be back.
