I just picked up a large order for work, driving 2 miles there and 2 miles back. When I picked up the order it was in one large grocery bag stuffed to the top. I asked "Is everything in here? Drinks? Dip? Chips?" The young guy at the cash register said yes. So I left and brought the order back to the workplace. When we arrived and unpacked it we noticed the Au Jus DIP for the FRENCH DIP wasn't put in the bag. I called the location to tell them they forgot to include it and asked for it to be delivered. The same young man who gave me the bag told me he had to go ask. He came back on the phone and said "they said you can come back and get it." (I can make another 4 mile round trip for their mistake?) I said "no, that's not right, I am already back at the job, and this was not my mistake, you offer delivery, can someone please bring it here." He said "please hold on" again. I waited for about 2 minutes on hold, then he hung up on me. I called back 3 times and they wouldn't answer. Basically avoiding my call. I was then informed by the other workers at our jobsite that they put the wrong bread on someone else's sandwich although the order stapled to the bag clearly noted the person did NOT want dutch crunch. So they messed up his sandwich too. The workers all agreed they always screw up at least 1 sandwich when we order there, so we just will go to another sandwich place in the future. Worst customer...
Read moreToday, I was sad to see the loss of the “Mr. Pickles” deli personality I used to experience. “Back in the day”, the staff was lively and in tune with the customer. Today staff seemed disinterested in stepping up. In fact, the woman who took my order was very slow, which was bad because the first sandwich was a hot sandwich and was dead meh” by the time we both sat down to eat. I saw this coming and tried to circumvent this from happening by speaking up and asking if anybody else could make mine. She snapped at me and the two guys standing around looked through/past me. One walked away snd the other just kept shuffling around the dressing containers he was doing something to. We were the only customers at the counter at the time. Regretfully, spent about $35 for two sandwiches, chips and drinks after talking up Pickles to my lunch partner who had never heard of it. Great background music as remembered. I hear from many small business owners that finding good people is hard these...
Read moreMr.Pickles is awesome sandwich shop. The manager is not, he seem's to not care about customer's and is hypocritical. Called a phone order in, told me 10 minutes. I arrived to see the sign "No mask No service". I opened the door and to my alarm 6 employee's are just screaming over the counter "no mask no service", like I can't read the sign. Asked if I could just pay for the sandwich, they said no. That's fine 100% okay with that. The reason I'm writing the review is because as I'm leaving the place; The manager returns from his car. As he's walking, I asked him if could pay for sandwich, he reply's no mask no service as well, okay fine. However, the manager who isn't wearing a mask at the time , then walks into the place WITHOUT a mask on. Completely disregarding the safety standards they're enforcing on customers. If it doesn't apply for manager's why do it at all? I can't explain how much of a joke this was, complete hypocrisy. Won't...
