UPDATE: 6/4/2025: So I decided to see if it had gotten any better! NO! This location is still trash! I waited in line for 20 minutes, because apparently they were out of steak and a handful of people were waiting on it. No announcement was made during my wait. I finally get to order, only to find out they are out of white rice, pinto beans, veggies, and corn! So you don't have anything to make a full bowl, WOW! I'm on lunch and don't have time to go elsewhere so I order what I can. I get to the register and ask Tiana (cashier) if my bowl could be discounted since they obviously don't have much to choose from and didn't make an announcement. Tiana said No! When I asked why, this bright poptart says, "because you didn't have to order anything, you could have left like everyone else, so no, I can't give you a discount". I said okay, paid for the bowl and left. Trash all the way around! Chicken was hard & burnt (the grille obviously needs to be cleaned) and rice was hard, AGAIN. Drive pass it, DO NOT waste your time/money! 2021 REVIEW: My daughter and I were so excited to have a Chipotle close by, unfortunately, we were disappointed! Food is NEVER hot and fresh! They always run out of items and do not announce to it ppl that have been standing in line for 45 minutes! Brown rice (the only one I like) was either under cooked or old, it was extremely hard. I had to put my food in the microwave because it was no where near hot! They need to close this location, re-staff it and then re-open it with managers from successful Chipotle location overseeing it for the next year. Sooo disappointed, I will try back again in the Fall, maybe they will have it...
Read moreMy friend and I walked in to get food and no one talked to us for a minute, which is fine, I understand stuff happens. When we came in we were told something to the effect of "We forgot to make rice, it's going to be a 30 minute wait for white rice and an hour for brown rice" Once again, a bit frustrating but I understand things happen sometimes and we were willing to wait. We come back in about half an hour later, still no rice, so we sit down. A line is starting to form at this point. One of the guys in line is standing for a solid 5-10 minutes without being looked at, let alone spoken to. Finally, the rice is done and my friend and I order our food. She's vegan and tried to order sofritas and was informed they didn't have any. Then she asked for fajita veggies, the guy checked the empty veggie container, turned around without saying anything to us and started cooking veggies. During this time, he did not start making anyone else's food, he didn't apologize for the wait or even tell us what was going on. We waited for the veggies for about ten minutes, completely dumbfounded by the service. The employees were just fooling around and didn't seem to give any acknowledgement to the fact that they were running behind. It didn't seem like there was any manager around either. Again, if it was just the rice, it wouldn't have been too much of a problem, I understand food service and by extension, customer service, can be difficult. I work in customer service myself, I give a lot of grace to service workers, but this was hands down the worst "service" I have ever recieved. I hope the employees at this location can be trained to at the very...
Read moreUpdate July 2022: My wife attempted to go to the 7 mile and Haggerty location, but was welcomed with a closed sign in the middle of the day. Interesting. She then visited the 5 mile and Middlebelt location only to make it all the way to the front of the line to be told they are "out of meat". Not a side topping, but meat. As in the primary component in every dish, hahahaha. It's just laughable at this point.
Update: I gave this location a few more opportunities to see if they had turned the corner with respect to efficiency and being a functional business. Not surprisingly, each visit has been completely underwhelming. Last time I walked in, there were customers milling about who appeared to be waiting for online orders. I promptly walked up to the preparation line and was told that the the "indoor line was closed" and they were only taking App orders. This is clearly not a COVID related protocol because there were several customers inside already. I left without placing and order and will not be going back. It's too bad this location has absentee Ownership and Management.
Original Post: Ownership or Management need to get involved very quickly and provide some much needed oversight. This location frequently "sells out" of numerous ingredients; which simply means they have not ordered or prepped the appropriate amount of inventory. They typically have 1 or 2 people working the mainline which creates unnecessary extended lines at the counter. This location has now been around long enough to work through the kinks - the problem is now solely management - or...
