Many people have a love/hate relationship with ALDI as a whole, and I completely understand. The very idea of how a store like ALDI operates and keeps costs low is sure to be frustrating at some point. The constant rotation of different products leaves the consistency of being able to repeatedly buy the same items over and over like you would at a normal grocery store pretty much out of the equation. What ALDI lacks in consistency, they make up for in quality. The quality of ALDI's store branded products are unmatched when compared to other store's brands. If you don't believe me, I encourage you to take the plunge and find out for yourself. Being a frequent ALDI shopper, I have been to quite a few different locations over the years, and I have to say this is one of the nicest ones. Yes, I know this location is rather new, and that probably has a lot to do with it but either way it's nice.
This location is clean, organized, and regularly stocked up. The employees here are friendly, helpful, and professional. While we're on the subject of employees, I think I've seen more employees here, than at any other ALDIāwhich certainly isn't a bad thing (especially if it's busy or if you need help locating something).
The one thing that is different at this ALDI location compared to others is the layout itself. It's not a big deal (or even a little deal by any means) but this location is just set up differently than others you may have visited. This particular ALDI location is also in a very busy area right off of the freeway, so you will find that it's pretty busy, more often than not. There is ample parking to accommodate it being in such a busy area, so you really shouldn't have too much trouble finding a place to park. This location can be particularly challenging to get in and out of because of it's close proximity to the freeway, but I am confident that you will figure it out.
When all is said and done you cannot go wrong with this ALDI locationāso fish that lone quarter from your sticky cup holder, dig those reusable bags out of the endless abyss that is your trunk, and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe worst customer service I have ever experienced. I went to the store at 8:45am to purchase blueberries. I needed a large quantity of blueberries and had already been to 3 different stores to try and purchase blueberries, but all them were sold out. I was very relieved that Aldi had blueberries in stock. As I was waiting in line, the cashier asked me āHow many is that?ā I responded that I had 3 cases and that I was going to grab 3 more. She then said āok I need to know how many are in the caseā I didnāt realize that she was asking me to count for her. So when she asked again I said I didnāt know. She began counting as I went to get the rest of the blueberries I needed. When I got back to the register, she had called a manager over. I put the additional cases of blueberries on the belt and the manager turned to me and without saying hello, introducing himself or asking me any questions said āJust so you know you need to place an order in advanceā I said āOh, ok, I never shop here so I wasnāt awareā he then informed me that he would ālet me purchase them this time, but next time I need to let them know ahead of timeā While itās not unreasonable to ask for advance notice, I was taken aback by him giving me permission to be a customer. I tried to smooth things over a bit because clearly he and his cashier were not pleased about having me spend $186.48 on blueberries and tried to thank him. I said āI went to 3 other stores before I came here, soā¦ā before I could finish my sentence and say so I really appreciate you guys helping me, the manager interrupted me and said ānone of that is my problem. We wonāt let you buy this many againā. No problem. I definitely wonāt be back...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNicely remodeled, restrooms, free parking, good store for saving on basic but options are limited and although some name brands are sold there mostly the brands are store brands. If you don't like something, or find an issue, they have a simple, hassle free guarantee so simply take it back to the store. There are a lot of seasonal items that come and go, so stock up when you find things you really like. Baked goods, dairy, eggs, bagged salad, chicken salads, cheeses, breads, buns, staple items, baking products, snacks, crackers, cookies, canned soups, canned vegetables, canned fruit, and cereals are generally values and worth the trip and purchasing. The limited varieties and bands will mean that you will want to get the basics here and then go to a larger grocery store option for all the rest to fill out your recipes, tastes, and products Aldi doesn't have. Among the staples worth getting here are the paper products, food storage bags, trash bags, and so on. Fun to visit and see the changes week to week, seasonal products that just arrived, and search for mark downs. Bring your own bags or buy bags there for your purchases. Grab empty boxes to cart your purchases is another option. A quarter unlocks a shopping cart for your use, but the quarter is unlocked when you return your cart and lock it to the rest of them. Yes, that means using the cart is actually free. Checking out is rapid, and you need to move to the counter along the wall to bag or box your purchases. Check your receipt because errors can happen but easily and willingly corrected if you...
