Worst Choice Hotel EVER. If it wasn't for the family (we had 4 rooms booked for 3 nights) I would have moved. First room we were given was not vacuumed. I complained and they said they would send someone up. But then I looked around. Coffee dumped and left to dry in sink, pubic hairs on the toilet seat .|| We immediately went back downstairs and were given another room.||Slightly better in cleanliness but many items in needs of repair. Switch on bedside lamp did not work, needed to unplug to turn off. Outlets on desk did not work, AC was grinding at 5 minutes intervals. ||Ice maker did not work, breakfast? was a joke. I saw people come in, look and then leave. No coffee, had to ask. Ran out of butter. Tried to pour spoiled milk into coffee as they were out of creamers. Food regularly ran our but could be gotten from the kitchen. on the last day when the food service ended, I watched the attendant remove the cooked pork sausages in a plastic bag and return to the refrigerator.||So pet friendly, that dog poop was left at the front door for 2 days. When we left the garbage at the front door was overflowing with numerous items on the ground.||The website says this place has an indoor pool. Not so.||The desk staff was rude. When we complained about the AC, we were told, "What do you expect? This is a budget hotel. And we are going to renovated next month." This place should not be bearing the Choice Hotel name. They should...
Read moreI will preface this with the positive: the staff are very friendly and helpful.||Besides that, every other aspect of this property is bad. For one, there is a $100 deposit required at checkin; not unusual or unreasonable yet also not disclosed on the hotel’s page. Two, the building is incredibly dated and worn, to the point of being beat up. Parking lot is a moonscape, wallpaper is peeling & stained, doors are chipped & damaged, locks are loose, broken safe, no work area (just a small wobbly table), loose crown molding, ceiling damage, broken and dirty phone, dirty office chair and lukewarm water in the shower.||Then there is the smell; this place absolutely reeks of pot. This is not to pass judgement on those who choose to partake (far from it, I enjoy a gummi from time to time myself), but it still stinks. The lobby smells, the hallways smell, even the bedding had a faint weed odor. While I can understand that much of this is out of the hotel's control as it is legal after all, the smell in the sheets was just too much.||This property is FAR below the Comfort Inn trim level, and to be honest every Rodeway Inn or Econo Lodge I have ever been to is above this place and that includes seasonal locations that have less opportunity to generate revenue. I travel extensively (30-40 nights a year) and am platinum with Choice and this is one of the worst properties I...
Read moreI had a four night stay. Every day that I left and returned, myy key did not open my door and I had to go back downstairs to get it reloaded. On my last night. I had to go down twice and get it reloaded because it didn’t work the first time I had it reloaded. Even after having it reloaded, it takes about 3 to 4 minutes to get it to work to open the door. The housekeeper told me I had to shake the doo, hold the door, grab the door, pull the door to get it to work, which is why it took so long. I’m not sure which one of those was more effective. The guy at the front desk said all of the guest were complaining about the doors yet no one saw fit too address the problem..|I called to report my TV not working in my room and I was told I had to wait until the maintenance man returned in two hours. I called back two hours later and I was told I had to wait another hour. It only takes 10 minutes tops to grab a TV from another room. The TVs are...
