MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Livonia

Me and my friend came here to get pizza bcz we love their pizza when r can to the counter to order e got really very cold vibes hen e ere ordering pizza if e ere asking something staff as making faces and making fun of us e are Indians they don’t like us e felt racist bcz they were talking so nice to American people first of all then there was a white guy with hat was making salad I asked him this salad is looking so tempting I want the same salad he stared at me and didnot even give me any answer and walked away then a bite girl it’s red hair cane I asked her the same thing bcz I wanted to order the same salad even she looked at me rudely said let me take care To this then I ll take care of u then she said u want the same stuff I said whatever I want ll let you know she started making my salad it out asking me then I asked her what was that white sauce she said ricotta cheese I said I don’t want it she got so frustrated for no reason first of all hen I said ll let you kno whatever I want she should have asked me hen she started that’s not my fault and by she got mad at Me I m really upset she told another black guy they all gathered started looking at us and started talking and laughing and then a black guy with braids gone inside and brought other guy with long hair even he came out and gave us a bad look and gone inside we felt really insecure and left bcz we were not feeling safe they ere kept on staring at us and talking e felt like they are not interested selling food this is really very ridiculous we were tired and were in a mood to eat mid pizza we ordered but couldnot enjoy it bcz we felt so unsafe plz think twice going there people are working here...

This location has potential.

Entered restaurant on a Friday night. There was a small line with 3 employees visible. Two of the employees were working the line and a third placing the pizzas in the oven.

What took time was customers in front who weren't sure what they wanted on their pizzas and observed changing their minds. You can't hold the employees responsible for this.

I ordered the Mad Dog Mini add mushrooms. The employee that was assembling my pizza was very friendly, efficient, and ensured that the pizza was made to my liking. He took off his gloves, took my payment and thanked me for coming. I wish I remembered his name, because he did a great job!

The lobby had some dirty tables and the drink station needed some attention. The employee placing the pizzas in the oven , could've cleaned a few tables while waiting for pizzas to bake. He also needed to take the time to scrape the oven , because my pizza had noticable chard pieces from the oven. The employee didn't seem to have any motivation to do much of anything. There were dirty pans under his station that could've been taken to the sink, while he just waited on the pizzas to bake.

As mentioned above, my pizza tasted burnt due to char pieces from the oven. I have had Mod Pizza from other locations, including this one that tasted amazing.

Management needs to train employees on how to better manage their time. The employee working the oven had time in-between pizzas to catch up on cleaning. The employees working the line were great and did the best they could. Kudos to those two.

My first visit was awesome. I was new to the place. I work at across the street. Employees were very friendly and since I was new to the place they explained everything on the menu to the tee. The food was great and the fruit puree drink. I love how you can add whatever you want on the pizza.

It was 5 stars for me but now as June 30 2021 around noon, I wasn't too thrilled with my visit that day. My pizza came later after the guys behind me ordered. My crust never showed up until I spoke to one of the workers about it. Since I had no idea my crust wasn't even in the oven waiting 20 min. Then I had to wait even longer for the crust to be done. They call themselves apologizing by giving me a cup on the house but I already had a cup of ice from them since I had water in my car. I didn't hear not one apology from anyone their until I called them. Keep in mind their were at least 8 employees there. They destroyed my lunch break. I had 40 min to work with and that was gone because of them. I had work on an empty stomach till 4:00 pm. Since that's the time I'm off. I didn't raise hell inside because kids were in the vicinity. I started coming here for about a year now. But with this experience my confidence level just dropped a little. I wish MODS PIZZA all the best but they won't be seeing me that much.
