I want to start this off by saying that I have been here a myriad of times, and probably would have been here several more times if it weren't for the fact that it's almost always busy, and the drive thru line is almost always wrapped around the building. I also have only ever used the drive thru at this location so I cannot speak on how things are if you venture to eat inside. If you should choose to go eat inside, there is ample parking so you shouldn't really ever have an issue finding a spot. One thing to keep in mind though is that the drive thru line often begins to weave its way through the parking lot, which could inadvertently end up with you not being able to get out of your parking spot. I love the food here, but I'm not trying to be stuck in the parking lot with a belly full of burger and curds.
This brings up a good point, location. This particular location sits within a very busy area, in an even busier metropolitan area which leads to it being packed (especially the drive thru) almost all of the time. The drive thru line is typically wrapped around the parking lot/building, especially if it's during peak dining times like lunch or dinner. I'll be the first to admit that Culver's has one of, if not the best fast food style burgers on the market (especially in Michigan), but I haven't found these massive lines at most other locations, so rather it be because everyone loves the food, I think in this case it's due to where this particular Culver's is located.
If you're unfamiliar with the area, this location sits in one of the "outer lots" that Meijer always has near their stores. The only problem is that there are also a ton of other dining and shopping options so anyone and everyone that lives in the area is coming here to do their dining and shopping. Just know, it's busy, and you're more than likely going to be waiting for your food no matter what, so just plan on it so you're not all hangry and getting all bent out of shape about a burger and cheese curds.
If you've never been to a Culver's, and you've wound up here for some reason (probably because you're hungry), just know that the wait is worth it. You're in for quite the fast food treat. The term "Butter Burger" sounds very off-putting in my opinion, but if you can get passed their terminology, you'll be putting one of the best fast food chain-style burgers available in Michigan, in your mouth. That being said, it certainly isn't the cheapest fast food out there and you can easily spend $30+ for two adults to fill their bellies. In my personal opinion the quality of the food offsets the higher cost, but I know my bank account is rolling its eyes every time I swipe my card here.
Beyond the fact that the food is absolutely delicious, hot and fresh every time I stop here. The employees are also incredibly friendly and professional. I would even go as far as to say that the friendliness of the employees here rivals that of a certain chicken sandwich chain that is known for their friendly employees. The employees are also incredibly efficient and accurate as well. Thus far I have received 100% order accuracy as a customer here, which is something to be said because I think I get maybe 60-75% out of other fast food establishments in the area.
When all is said and done, yes there will almost always be a wait, and yes the food they serve here will always be worth that wait, so if you have the time, spend it.
Don't believe me? Give it a go for yourself,...
Read moreNever had a issue with Culvers or the employees so it is a surprise that I’m making a complaint. I ordered the new garlic, pub, bacon burger. It comes with lettuce, tomato pickle and a garlic mayonnaise. I don’t like mayonnaise so I ordered mustard and ketchup and instead And add raw onions. Yes, I should’ve checked order before pulling off, but I didn’t. I drove home and there’s no mustard, ketchup or pickles which was supposed to be on there in the first place. They did put the onions and the mayo so I had to wipe everything off the bun, so the only thing was left was a tomato the beef patty, cheese, and bacon. I called the store to tell them my sandwich wasn’t right. The woman didn’t give me her name, but she said she was the manager. She said that she would send out a coupon for a few free burger. I was satisfied in the conversation could’ve ended right there. Then she added with a negative tone that next time I should make sure I checked no mayonnaise. Doing this whole process, she never gave an apology for the inconvenience so my response was well. It does show that it comes with pickles and I added mustard and ketchup, and she wouldn’t respond about those shortcomings. Again she mentioned me being the problem by not checking if I pressed the no mayonnaise button. Again, I agreed and I asked what what about the items that I was supposed to have that is on the receipt like the pickles, mustard and ketchup again she didn’t respond. You can hear the talking to her voice getting increasingly aggravated and then she just snapped and said for sending you the coupon goodbye and hung up. I did leave a message directly with Culver’s and no one has contacted me. So I hope this Google review will help people in similar circumstances to know that some covers employees. I’m not qualified to be in a restaurant business or the Customer Service business. If a customer makes a mistake that’s fine, but at least that’s up to your own mistakes and this is a business not personal I made no personal Attack against her I just wanted to know why she didn’t say anything about the things that were supposed to be on the sandwich that wasn’t and why She didn’t offer up a simple apology for the inconvenience. I believe if she knew better, she...
Read moreThe food was delicious but "curdside to go" was a fail and the customer service was horrible. I ordered curdside online and received a notice that my order would be ready in 6 minutes at 3:31 pm. I rushed to the car with the kids and raced to be there on time. I arrived at 3:33 and checked in via email. By 3:40, my order still was not out. I called twice. The first time an associate answered the phone and after she greeted me, it sounded like a fax machine. I called back twice and received a busy signal. The fourth time the phone rang and rang and rang unanswered. I had to unpack my kids and go inside. They were still putting the order together. Then they tried to tell me that an automated system assigns the time, not them, as if I'm supposed to know what time the order will ACTUALLY be ready if it's other than what was communicated to me. Then they acknowledged the phone was off the hook and one team member asked another if she had received my call, to which the girl seemed to reply that she intentionally didn't answer because she was getting the order together. Then they had some excuse as to why I couldn't get a token for the kids meal custard although online it said to redeem in store because it couldn't be redeemed online. Apparently every store does things differently, so again I apparently should've known not to rely on the information I saw online during the order process. They gave me nothing but excuses and acted like I was the problem. I...
