Redemption. If I wrote this review immediately after visiting this location I would have given it one star, NOT because of the food, that was tasty and well prepared, and NOT because we had any problems with our wonderful server, Sharea, but because of the managers who didn't see fit to sit all of my party of 14 (in adjacent tables in roughly the same area) together after leaving a funeral that devastated this family who'd traveled near and far and converged on this nearly empty restaurant. Rather we were seated at distant locations, spread out, with no good reason. It bothered me so much I later sent a letter to the corporation complaining about our treatment. However, shortly afterwards I received a personal call from one of the managers I'd encountered that same day, Carol. She seemed genuinely apologetic after explaining their rationale and she listened to the reason my family patronized her restaurant that day. We had a wonderful conversation and all was resolved. She wanted to show her gratitude and even went as far as to send a sympathy card, along with gift certificates to the mother of the young deceased girl. My cousin was so touched to receive the card. Carol apologized for the misunderstanding and went above and beyond to show a little kindness to a grieving mother. If only all disagreements could end so peacefully? The restaurant was clean, the food was good and the servers are great. I am going to give this Red Lobster 5 stars for resolving a resolvable customer service issue. Thanks, from a future continuing customer...
Read moreI am very disappointed with the service that I was provided from the Red Lobster staff. I dined in with my cousin on Saturday; we were greeted with very pleasant hostesses that were transparent about the longer than usual wait time. We got drinks at the bar while we waited for our table. We were sat after about 35/40 minutes. Our server, Ms. Brittany was really sweet, the entire visit was pleasant until it was time to get ready to leave. We asked the manager if a gift card over the phone and not physically present would be accepted where he assured us that it would be, I wrote the numbers down on the receipt and Ms. Brittany took it and returned moments later saying that the card did not work and that I would have to use a different form of payment which was fine within Itself, UNTIL I put the card number in later on and found that I had an existing balance of $25 on the very gift card I presented to the staff. To rectify the situation I called the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager on duty which was Ms. Latavia, I explained to her the situation and was provided a dismissive "I do not know what to do about that". After requesting a manager I had hoped I would receive more empathy and understanding for the incident however was instead told 3 times, that she didn't know what to do to about the situation. I would hope that we would learn how to deescalate misunderstandings and mishaps better...
Read moreWent here with my sister Nephew and my twin boys. The waiter was very terrible. She never came to check on us to see if our meal was good or anything. She brought four waters to the table. Remind you it was five of us. I asked for lemons in our waters we did not get those When I ordered my son's food. I asked for cocktail sauce. He didn't get any, so of course I had to give him mine, which I love to eat my shrimp with cocktail sauce so I asked for some more it took about 20 minutes for me to get the cocktail sauce by that time everyone else was done eating and my food was cold. I asked them to reheat it. She said she had to get the manager by the time they brought my food back out to me the second time my sister is ready to pay the bill and ready to go and we never got our second round of order of biscuits that we asked for before our dinner came out.... The service here was the worst service that I ever encountered at this red lobster. It makes me not wanna go back I never did eat my meal by the way, so it was a waste of $100 bill. Will I go back maybe and be prepared to wait an hour even if they tell you 45 minutes oh and we got there around eight we did not leave out of there until 11:10 that's crazy for two mothers...
