Jeremiah's Italian Ice — Restaurant in Locust

We’ve been coming here since they’ve opened. Hands down the best chocolate soft serve out there. I signed u for the rewards app and had been accumulating points all summer long. This past week my husband and I bought a small cup of ice cream and I had the employee scan the rewards app like normal. I knew I did not want to use the free medium I had earned and just wanted to save it for next time. Well the young girl mistakenly used my points so it depleted them from my app (and said I had been gifted my free medium loyalty treat). I showed the employee what happened and asked if there was anyway she could fix this or have a manager fix this. She said she didn’t push anything and wasn’t sure why it said that but that she was sorry. She suggested I showed them my account the next time I came in and to tell them I never actually received the free medium.. so I’m hoping they will believe me. The girl was very sweet and young so I couldn’t be mad at her we all make mistakes. I absolutely love this place and we frequent here often so I was just disappointed to lose a free medium when also paying for the small I had ordered. Inside looked inviting. Chocolate ice-cream taste awful, like it was mixed with pineapple. Had a hard time ordering. Girl taking order did not seem to be interested in helping with first time customers. Explaining what Italian ice is. Still have no clue. I ordered Chocolate milkshake. I asked her twice how Chocolate drink was made. She was more interested in a size, I tried to explain that I don't know what size until I know what I am ordering. I gave up and told her medium. Thinking she would answer my questions. Boy was I wrong, frustrated I walked away from the counter, to let the others order. I did not get a drink but just chocolate ice cream. That was awful, you could at least clean the machine better between customers, if I wanted my chocolate to taste like pineapple I would have ordered it that way. This place has been on my list to try and glad I had a softball game in the area in order for me to try them out. Decided on the Candy Bar Gelanti and instead of mini chocolate chips, I substituted for cookie butter crumbles. And boy was that a great choice!!! Loved how the flavors from the P-Nutty and Salted Carmel Italian Ice mixed well with the Chocolate soft serve ice cream. It was like a delicious explosion in my mouth, it was so good. And to top it off with the nutty buttery flavor from the cookie butter crumble was amazing. I just might have to make the drive again just for that option or...
