OMG!!! I should of start from the cleanliness of the store and freshness of the food, but I can't continue without saying that this Chipotle Restaurant and their staff at Lodi, NJ should get the the Michelin Star Award, from the guys in the kitchen, getting busy cooking and making sure the steam trays are filled up in the front, to the lady that was serving the food, building your plate at your request, fast and efficient and making sure the area was not messy, then Kathy, the lady at the register with her pleasant attention and Amarfy the manager, whom put the icy on the cake when I was about to pay and realized that I left my wallet in my car, but my friend had driven away, because he wanted to eat greasy pizza, but I was short with the money I had in my pocket, I told the lady to hold the food until my friend comes back and the manager, while in her busy duties taking care of online orders, overheard the conversation and did the must beautiful act of kindness, she said it's ok the food is free, they even offered me a free drink, which I didn't order, but as a consideration, I didn't accepted it. So, I asked why they did that and they said, money is not everything and we should show compassion for others when they are in need and also, that's one of the criteria that Chipotle Corporation has, to assist people in that type of situation. That's an amazing and excellent management, customer service and human behavior. That action really pays, because I always help people when I can and today I was rewarded. Thank you Amarfy, Kathy and Chipotle, may the Lord bless you...
Read moreThis place is hit or miss…mostly miss. I’m a very polite and friendly person and when I feel like my customer service as a customer is better than your professional service, that’s when I complain. I don’t know names, but one specific younger girl, I always feel like I’m a bother. She looks annoyed at me…lol it’s whatever to me. I’m stoned most of the time so I’m chillin, not sweating it. There have been a couple of times where they forgot my chips (twice) and also a bottle of coke…and I just don’t have the energy to deal with feeling like I’m committing a crime by speaking with them.
The reason i say this is, I reached out to corporate to let them know about me missing chips and soda. The process was so annoying, and I feel like it’s 110% intentional to keep people from reaching out. I spent several minutes filling out everything on the receipt number (address, date, time, store number…)had to do this a couple of times because once I started the chat, the bot asked for this. Then someone got on the chat and directed me to a link to have to fill out ALL the info again. I explained the situation, provided everything to them again, and got no where. I was told something along the lines of “thanks for letting us know, we aim to blah blah blah” sort of thing.
This is why I don’t want to deal with the people in the store.
The only reason I come here is because of...
Read moreThis place sucks. I went on the line and told them I wanted a “kids quesadilla.” The lady on register proceeded to yell “no more quesadillas” which didn’t make sense because the tortilla were right there. She said apparently there was an issue with ringing it up on the register. They said I had to order online. Then I asked her if I ordered it right now if it could be made right away. She proceeded to give me an attitude asking what exactly I wanted to order. As I’m trying to place my order with my hunger toddler, the app would not let me place my order for the location. After multiple attempts of trying I asked a crew member and was given an attitude by a young man on the online order station. The same lady at the register tried to help me but then said “oh I thought you wanted a regular quesadilla” ???? When I clearly said KIDS quesadilla. After about 10 minutes of trouble shooting they were able to make the kids quesadilla. Then they had no chocolate milk. After being frustrated due to this technical issue + having a hungry toddler pulling at me asking to eat, i got frustrated. Staff is rude and gives an attitude. To top it off, the kids quesadilla bag came with SIX CHIPS. SIX. I’ve came here a bunch of times and come on, six chips. I’m tired of coming...
