I will admit, right off the bat, that I have only been to Beth's Bistro once. As soon as you walk in the environment feels more like a small cafe than a college campus food hub. The area is open, well laid out and has plenty of space for groups or studying students. As I had never been there before I didn't know what to expect price wise or portion size. I am pleasantly surprised to say the portions we're not huge but still large and the cost for it was very reasonable. I ordered the eggs with veggies added bacon to it, which also comes with toast, and some hashbrowns. They used fresh cracked eggs, fresh spinach, tomato and portobello mushrooms. The hashbrowns were thicker cut than I expected but it gave them a better texture than the other kinds. It was very good food. My only complaint about the food was they didn't butter my toast or give me butter to do so myself. I'm not knocking any points off because it came with strawberry jam for the toast. I also like the Grilled Pastrami but they tend to go heavy on the sauce and pastrami which makes it kinda messy. The coffee is fantastic and they provides dozens of choices.
