Look, it's a casual Greek place. You can usually get an entree, a side, and a drink for 15 dollars or less (and that's probably the most expensive way to go). Don't expect the ambiance of some sit-down Mediterranean place that's going to cost 20 or 30 dollars a person. The Greek Streak is great BECAUSE it isn't one of those places. I've a Gyros at those kinds of places that cost 15-20 dollars that weren't better than the ones here.
Most people who didn't like it here had the seafood (some others liked the seafood, though). That being said, if it's your first time, don't order the shrimp or the fish. Its like going to a Mexican resturant for the first time and ordering a hamburger (which they only have for the nutjobs coming in ordering Burgers at a Mexican Place). If shrimp were the go to item, it would be called "the Shrimp Streak". I'm not saying the shrimp is bad, but guys, this isn't rocket science.
You go in. Order literally any of the sandwiches or salads (which are pretty big). Go for the gyro if you don't mind lamb or you want to try it. Go for the chicken or Souvlaki (marinated pork) if you don't. They're both seasoned with a Greek marinade and taste great. They have Greek toppings like Tzatziki sauce, feta cheese, kalmata olives, etc depending on what you get. You do this because when normal people go to a Greek resturant, they're usually there for Greek food.
The portions are generous, especially for the price. You will not find Greek food better than this here in Logan and I haven't found a Gyro this good anywhere else without spending twice as much.
All in all, it's a great place to grab some great food for way better prices than a "fancy" Mediterranean place and the service is great. One of the gems of the town and...
Read moreOK so this restaurant has always been a favorite of mine. I love the new restaurant. The location as well as the layout is amazing. Mario and his wife, both owner and operator. Staffed by an Amazing group of young people who seem like they really enjoy their positions. Today I had a server by the name of Brooke. She was very attentive. She maintained my table, provided me a refill and a pleasant smile. Come to find out that this was her first day of employment. It was not a apparent to myself nor will it be to another guest in the restaurant. She was very personal and professional. Million dollar smile! Good job Brooke! The rest of the staff is just as awesome as well. The food is always good here. They also have a nice selection of beers on tap. Come check them out! Oh I am only allowed one review. Unfortunately. I’m here today on a Saturday in Cache Valley Utah. So many people here. They are totally keeping up with the orders. I love this place. The food is amazing. If you haven’t tried Greek Streak II out yet, get out here and do so. The new restaurant with it’s design and staff are all amazing. I love the vibe here. You can eat inside the restaurant or out on the open-air patio. I tried one of these beers on tap. It’s a Kona big wave....
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and while it may not be the most authentic Greek restaurant out there, it certainly provided a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience.
Given that it is located in Utah, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. While it may not have been the most traditional Greek cuisine, the dishes were still tasty and satisfying, and there was a good variety of options to choose from.
What really stood out to me, however, was the friendly and accommodating staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome, and throughout my meal, the waitstaff were attentive and helpful without being overbearing.
Overall, I had a good experience at this restaurant. While it may not be the most authentic Greek restaurant, the food was still tasty, and the staff were friendly and attentive. If you're looking for a decent meal and a pleasant atmosphere, this could be a...
