We came to Culver’s in the first place because we had a coupon for a buy one get one burger. The first thing we mention in the drive thru is the coupon and what it’s for. The girl enters it in the system as one basket rather than the two burgers. We order fries and cheese curds. We ask about what size they come in and she tells us. We order a regular and it never gets entered. She asks what drink we want. Confused, we ask if the cheese curds ever got entered. No. Then we ask if she got the right burger and mention the coupon again. She removes the basket, adds two burgers, but not the coupon. She keeps laughing over the mic every time she messes up. Then she enters the fries and cheese curds in the wrong size. We tell her again. We finally see the right order, although not with the coupon and decide to go ahead as it might get entered at the window. We pull up and the total is still wrong. We ask about the coupon again. Both girls start laughing and say they’ll enter it. The total comes out wrong again so we ask for our receipt. They removed the cheese curds rather than the burger. We were overcharged. We tell them the error and she says she’ll have to get a manager to fix it. She asks if we want that. Yes, we do. Another person comes and gives us a coupon for a free basket. We assume this is a way to say “sorry”. She says they are working on a refund and will have to reenter the order. We tell them the order again. They give us a number and say to pull forward while they work on it. We get our food and a new receipt. The total is the same - overcharged. We ask the boy about it and ask if they did the refund. He asks if we want him to check on it. Yes, we do. He goes to get a manager. The manager comes out and explains how the order got messed up. We know how it got messed up, but was it fixed? No. He asks if we got a coupon for a free basket. We say yes and he says “we’ll that’s a $8 value, so it should cover it”. So it wasn’t actually to say sorry, it was to replace doing a refund. We ask again about getting the refund. He asks if we want that or the coupon. We are so sick of still being here that we say never mind, the coupon is fine (even though we never want to go back) and leave. Horrible customer experience. On top of it all, the...
Read moreI have had multiple bad customer service experiences at Culver’s, and tonight I decided I’d give it one more chance. Never again! They really need to learn how to train their employees to take care of their customers. A few reasons they deserve one star: There have been two separate times where they forgot my order. I have sat there for 30 minutes and after going into the restaurant a couple of times reminding them that I was waiting, they finally made my order and gave it to me. I ordered a single chocolate scoop of ice cream on a cone and they brought it to me, melted. It was dripping all down my hands, I had to ask them to bring me a cup so it wouldn’t melt all over me. Tonight was the last chance. We ordered, things were going smoothly and I was happy to receive our order so quickly. Then an employee, named Autumn, told us that they had made our order wrong and added caramel to a concrete. She asked if we would take it and we kindly said that we don’t like caramel and didn’t want it. She rolled her eyes at us and said something along the lines of “I guess I’ll just have to throw it away then” and angrily shut the drive through window. She came back and sassily handed us the correct concrete, rolled her eyes and was clearly upset at us that we wouldn’t accept the concrete that was not our order. I won’t be coming back, which makes me sad because the ice cream is good! But it isn’t worth it with how I’m treated by their employees. I have worked in customer service for six years and that is not how you treat...
Read moreThe food here is amazing and we keep going back, however, have to give it 3 stars only because they suck at special orders.
As far as the food is concerned, their cheese curds are amazing, they have very tasty fish and fish sandwiches, and their burgers are great. The food is fresh and gets out pretty quickly considering. Also, they have diet Rootbeer which is delicious!
We usually do drive thru and it's hard to check on order, especially since they run it out to the car when you get it. Oftentimes we've PAID EXTRA for toppings like tomatoes only to discover we get a tomato the size of a quarter on our sandwich or NO PAID TOPPING AT ALL. I've brought this up to management Several times and they seem like they don't care and are annoyed they're being bothered when a customer is pointing out Culver's is Stealing their money!
Also, I've actually had to drive away several times without food due to their drive thru line being packed and completely unorganized. It's like a nightmare sometimes! They have two window options but won't open the second one up when needed, so in those cases I leave, and good luck getting out of your parking spot when this happens.
We will be back, sure, but it's one of the more pricier options for burgers, and given the poor customer service we really have to be...
