I'm sad to have to share such a low review, but we've had multiple problems with the Fun Park. The Fun Park is not fun.
The last time my teenagers went to the fun park they were yelled at by one of the employees who upset them so much, they were telling me how upset they were and two of my kids said they said they were scared. Instead of having a chance to enjoy bowling, they were left feeling sick over the entire experience. One of the pins got stuck, and so one of the kids tried to fix it not realizing this wasn't the way to handle the situation. Instead of nicely helping and getting the pin fixed, the employee yelled and screamed and swore at the group. They asked for two games but we're only given one and when they tried to get the second game, there were only excuses why they couldn't continue playing despite the being plenty of lanes open. The worker continually joined another group playing and joked and played with them instead of doing their job,or at the very least, being polite.
When my husband spoke to the manager, he was offered a half hearted apology and credit for returning. My kids were so sick and upset over the incident, the last thing they wanted to do was return. When my husband said they, he was eventually given a partial refund, which we are grateful for, but it didn't begin to cover the cost of not only what we paid, but the stress if swearing and yelling instead of what should have been a stressful situation.
Previously, during the summer, my son biked a lot and chose to bike to the fun park. It was an extremely hot day, but he thought it would worth it to go have some fun. After spending money and having ok time, as he went to prepare to leave. He tried to get some water filled in his water bottle, but the employee refused saying they weren't allowed to let him get water.
Again, my husband spoke with the manager who gave a half apology and said they do allow people to fill up bottles with water. Despite saying this, there was nothing we felt was really done to correct things.
I wish that things were different, but we've struggled to have go experiences at the fun park. I don't feel comfortable spending money at a place that should be fun when I stead it is a terrible experience. I hope that things can change for the vettery, but we now avoid...
Read moreI have spent at least hundreds of dollars at this place over the years, so if there is anyone qualified to leave a review it’s me. Here’s how my most recent experience went. Three of us showed up at 8:30 to bowl with almost every lane open. We paid for 2 games and they put us on lane 11. We started playing and quickly realized lane 11 can’t pickup pin 10 at all so even if you got a gutter ball the sweeper would take that pin. That was fine, we aren’t professionals so figured we would just benefit from the handicap. However, we also noticed that it took what felt like 15 minutes (realistically 1-2 minutes) every time the pins were reset. Ok, no big deal, figured we wouldn’t bother the employees for that either, we’ll just be patient, but the games went really slow. We were probably 3/4 of the way done and it was 9:45ish when an employee came over and told us we need to be done within the next 5 minutes because they are closing. We mentioned it’s not our fault as we were bowling as fast as we could and he acknowledged that lane 11 has problems. To his credit he offered to move us to another lane, but if you’re only giving us 5 minutes it seems counterproductive to go through the effort of moving to another lane. And if you knew lane 11 had issues, why did you put us there in the first place? Instead we stood single file ball in hand, didn’t matter who’s turn it was, if you were first in line, the second that arm came up you fired that ball full speed down the lane and got back in line. And that was how we finished out our $35 game of bowling. Ok now on to Sk80s, because I’ve attended so many times. The employees despise it. They almost always seem fed up and miserable on Tuesdays as hundreds of college kids come to skate. There is a girl who I assume is the manager and she is one of the most miserable humans I’ve ever encountered. The second, no joke it’s like 1 second after midnight, Sk80s is over you can guarantee she is standing on something barking at everyone to get out. Overall, this place seems very mismanaged and if there was another place to roller skate in Cache Valley I’m sure this place would be abandoned. Until then, everyone, including me, will probably...
Read moreThis is the first time I’ve ever left a review and unfortunately I wish I could give a 0/5. The blonde employee was beyond rude to my friend and then to me. She obviously has no experience with children and no respect for other humans. The way we were treated was so uncalled for. If I were the owner of this place I would definitely want to know how poorly she treated us. She tried to “ban” a 3 year old without any warnings prior. Then she yelled out the door as I’m leaving condescendingly referring to me as “sweetheart”. Just super unprofessional and terribly rude. She should not be allowed to work around children. The facility is filthy as well. Not a great mixture. Definitely do not recommend coming here.
In resoponse to your very long response:
The whole point of my review was to inform you of how rude and unprofessional your employee was. You have obviously received a very one sided version of her story and I’m certain it is not the full story. I’m not interested in sitting down with you after your response to save face. My interaction with your employee was unacceptable and frankly embarrassing for your company. The other mothers I was there with and myself have no interest in returning to a place where we could be treated that way. No matter if a toddler slipped away for a few minutes or not. Not once did an employee come over to where all the mothers were to say there was any issue. Of course we understand the priority is safety. We are all loving caring mothers. I am sure your toddler has left your sight before while you were tending other children. That doesn’t make the lack of compassion and respect from your...
