Went with a group of kids and they set us up on two lanes -- one for kids and one for adults. We paid for two games for everyone, but it soon became apparent that the adults were going to finish their two games in the time that the kids would finish one. I went back and asked for a refund for the kids' second game since we weren't going to use it, and the employee refused to help us out. Apparently there is a small piece of paper taped to the front desk stating that they don't refund second games. I would have been more understanding, but there were a whole slew of other issues when we got there. For example, the bumpers on the kids' lane were broken. When we brought it up to them, they looked down at a sheet and were like "oh yeah, that's broken". I asked if they could fix it and the best they could do was swap our lanes so that the adults were at the lane with the broken bumpers. They got the names swapped over fast, but when the kids started bowling on the new lane, the bumpers were broken there, too! We raised the issue with the employees and they said that they couldn't do anything about it. On top of that, the lanes are outdated and the scoring will often glitch out on you.
Overall, it's a junky place. You get what you pay for in lane quality, but I expected at least an ounce of service when we their bumpers wouldn't work. A lot of places would have offered a full discount right away when they didn't have anything that works, but for them to refuse a discount on games that we didn't even use with all the other issues at the same time is absolutely galling. Anyone who has been with a group of kids at a bowling alley knows that the bumpers make a big difference when kids are there. Some kids are not very good and they will roll it into the gutter every time. The owners should be ashamed of themselves and hire new staff. Logan is full of students that are willing to work at night. There's no excuse for the pitiful customer service that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is a good place to go on a Thursday night. They have a discount on bowling on Thursdays, which is a good deal when you consider that your ball will probably get stuck more than once, and the lane will probably stop for no reason at least once. Of course the employees are helpful, but you can expect some issues while bowling. The biggest downfall is that they let people rent out the whole bowling alley for parties. So after you leave home and drive there, you find a note on the door that says sorry, you're not bowling tonight, because somebody rented the whole place out tonight. They also don't adhere to their schedule for cosmic bowling. Which is a big deal, if you are an avid bowler, who uses the marks on the floor and the lane. Once the lights go out, you can't see any of those marks. Overall it's a good place to bowl. Good, not great. But we keep going back every Thursday, except for the Thursdays that we get turned away by a note...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy young daughter and I were looking to go bowling for date night. We thought there was not one bowling alley in town and then we can across this place at the Cache Valley Fun Park. The price was just right and we liked the lights and music. Unfortunately, our lane kept breaking, sometimes for 10-15 minutes at a time. We lost patience and called it quits early, just a bad lane I suppose. The staff was so nice though and gave us vouchers to come back. The owner or manager saw that my daughter was disappointed and gave her a big cup of tokens to earn some tickets for a prize---put a big smile on her face and saved daddy-daughter date night. We'll definitely be going bowling here with the family next time. Three cheers for Bret customer service and a good time with the many different activities at Cache...
