Yeesh okay, so I don't typically review fast food places because, well, they're fast food. You set your bar lower by default I believe. However, this experience (and location) are notable enough to go ahead and weigh in. This is only our second visit in two years, and not because I dislike Sonic. We decided to park and order instead of driving through since we hadn't been in a while and wanted to peruse the menu. This takes place at approx 730 in the evening, and they aren't super packed, roughly 6 other vehicles parked and about as many in the drive thru. At 745 we hit the button to order, and 750 someone answers it to take our order. It went as you would expect, several "I can't hear you"s back and forth and a general sense of disdain from the employee. At 800 i realize the drive-thru isn't moving at all. At 810 I realize the cars that were there when we got there are STILL in their parking spaces. At 815-820 our food finally comes out. Cheers all around, it's been over half an hour, but we can move along. But half the order is missing. I go stand by the door and wait for one of the 4 teenagers standing around to answer, let them know, and ask for my stuff. I proceed to stand there for another 12 minutes. Finally, food in hand, I get in the car. My family had finished their food (who could blame them), or had at least attempted to do so. It was, in a word, terrible. Chicken fingers on par with cafeteria food. Mozz sticks so overcooked they were hollow shells. The new Buffalo Bites MIGHT be good if they weren't already cold? Their "Real Banana" (as advertised on their menu) Milkshake was anything but. Texas toast that was somehow burnt AND undercooked at the same time? I don't know how to describe the burgers, but I took 3 bites and tossed it.
A lot more writing than any fast food joint deserves, I know, but spare yourself the headache and drive on another mile north on 78, there's plenty of other options there (I...
Read moreI went to this location Friday night. 0 stars the customer service there is absolutely the worse! After placing my order 3x’s before even getting to the window I of course was asked the order one more time only to argue down a lady name Zeneta that I ordered three kids meals. Ma’am if I ordered the meals 3x’s I shouldn’t be asked again by the time I get to the next window. She then still only gave two kids meals & one adult meal. Then when it was time to give me drinks another worker name Mike gave me 3 small kid drinks ! clearly there is a disconnect if your arguing with me & making me pay for a regular meal with two kid meals then give me the regular size drink. Then when I kept asking him for my receipt he kept smiling like I was speaking another language & I told him no I need my receipt. Please get some adults to work at this location because the level of incompetence is ridiculous. If this is the establishment you chose to work at then you shouldn’t have an attitude Zeneta ! & if you are a manager you clearly need to be demoted because you have 0 customer service values. Mike just needs to be retrained on how to properly assist customers I had to ask him for my card back twice & he kept saying I know smiling. I dont play with my money & the fact that he just kept sitting there smiling like it was a joke said enough about the employees & establishment ! This location has got to be the worse I have ever went to. The staff needs to be retrained or let go. Zeneta definitely needs to go! I’ll try my luck with...
Read morePlaced my order in the drive thru and proceeded to the pay window. The young gentleman was very personable and kind and I found out he was leaving the next day. After I received my order I pulled to a parking spot to check my bags. I was missing only one item so I proceeded to the spots for parked ordering. A different young employee stopped at my car, before someone could answer from the inside, and I told him that I was missing an item. He then asked me to pull back thru the drive-thru ( which now had about 4-5 cars waiting) because he “didn’t really want to have to walk all the way back out” to give me the item. WHAT?! I’m 53 and this person was about 17ish. I told him no since there were too many cars and that I would get out of my car and come to the door to meet him so I could get my missing food item. I really don’t even know what to say about that. I’ve worked in the food industry all my life and I can’t imagine what would’ve become of my job if I had ever told a customer that I really didn’t want to have to walk back to them because of our mistake. I can look over most anything if the customer service is good and thank God for your young man at the window. But he has now left. I just wish my mother didn’t love your onion rings so much because it would be a while before I went back. Please counsel your team members about taking care of their customers a little bit better than what I...
