I had a very horrible experience at this location this evening and I do not plan on patronizing this location again. Let me start with saying I visit this location often as it is the closest to my home. Unfortunately, this was not my first incident with this staff member who I have now found out this evening that he is a manager at this location. He’s black with thinning dreads. He would not give me his name. The first incident happened a couple of months ago. I came in to place an order, and he was sitting down chilling in one of the booths in the dining area. After I placed my order, I saw him get up and go into the kitchen area to start preparing my pizza, along with others. He did not wash/sanitize his hands before he started to prepare the pizza. Nor did he put on any gloves. I mentioned the gloves because other visits to this location, I always saw the cooks have on gloves as they prepared the orders. I asked if that was my pizza that he was starting and he aggressively said “No! There are 3 orders before yours!” The young lady that took my order looked in shock from his tone. I then asked if she could cancel my order in which she did. I attempted to write a complaint but as I experienced tonight, there is an error message that comes up on the website when you try to submit the complaint.
On this occasion, I came in with my 3yr old daughter and attempted to place my order. The young lady must have been new because she did not know how to apply my phone number to the order so that I can earn my reward points. As I was explaining to her that normally they apply it at the beginning of the order, he comes over and rudely tells her to press the red button to cancel the order to start over. She looked so nervous and embarrassed. After she cleared the order he looks at me and says “Give me your number!!” I pause for a second because in my head I’m saying I know he is not talking to me like this, especially with my baby in my arms. So I say “that’s not how you should ask” He then gets loud saying “Omg! I don’t have time for this! As all his staff members look at me in shock. He then yells “Can I have your number?! I tell him no, not with you being rude and unprofessional to me. He then walks off. I thank the young lady for trying her best to assist me and says to him that I am making sure that I file a compliant! He then proceeds to say he doesn’t care and to get out of his store! As he’s saying that he picks up the phone and calls the police. I told him good, call the police, I’ll wait outside for them. My toddler is now frightened and shaking in my arms. As I’m walking to my car he comes out in the door and yells to the other staff members “Come look at this ya’ll!” The staff must have known he was in the wrong because not one of them came to the doorway. I put my baby in the car and was going to wait outside my car for the police to come but my baby is now crying at this point and I didn’t want to frighten her more after that exchange so I consoled her and pulled off. His behavior is unacceptable! I am hoping that someone from corporate sees this and takes whatever action seems fit for this incident. He should not be leading a team behaving the way that he does! He’s very rude and unprofessional. And let me not forget, it’s very unsanitary how he handles customers food. I will not be returning to this...
Read moreMy family and I have been coming here for years. Marcos was our go-to for takeout, parties, celebrations, etc. We really enjoyed it, and their customer service was great. We ordered from them maybe 3 times a month. HOWEVER, in the last 6 months it's declined in every way possible. Calling in for an order, I'm usually greeted by someone who is obviously disinterested (understandable, but please don't act like your customer is annoying you). They get our order and payment, etc. I always order breadsticks, and I always order extra sauce. We NEVER get the sauce we pay for. We order thin crust and get hand-tossed. We order extra cheese and nothing. All of this wouldn't keep me from coming back. The real kicker is that I ordered one of their specialty pizzas, which is a family favorite, and it was just meat and cheese. No toppings like we've gotten every other time. So my husband calls and they tell him that the pizza we order now only comes with meat and cheese. What? Okay, but if you're changing your menu, especially a popular pizza, wouldn't it be necessary to make customers aware? Again, I would continue to come back, but instead of offering to remake the pizza, they just said " that's how it is now" and hung up. I'm a drop in the bucket for them. This review most likely will not matter and discontinuing my service certainly won't, but if you have loyal customers it's imperative to resolve issues. Unfortunately, it seemed like we were just an inconvenience. I'm just disappointed that something my family and I used to look forward to no longer cares about customer service. It's really disheartening that there was no resolution and I will not be ordering from them...
Read moreCalled in an order and the total was $43 and I told them I had a $50 cash to pay and they didn’t say anything until order was ready to be picked up. Kaylee was extremely rude and said that they don’t take bills larger than $50’s however that was not posted anywhere in the restaurant and she said the owner took it down. Kaylee referred me to go Nextdoor to get change from Kroger which was not an option since I had children in the car waiting for food. When we weren’t going anywhere (kind of like Kaylee’s career) we decided to leave the restaurant and upon leaving the other employee Caden decided he wanted to make a cat hissing noise and didn’t think I heard it. I called back up there and spoke with Kaylee again and she hung up on me after I questioned her competency to even answer the phones correctly and what their procedures were as she continuously struggled to speak like she had a 2nd grade education and couldn’t use her big girl words. I then spoke with the manager Jerome who apologized and reitereted the policy and said he would bring it up to his supervisor to have it added back into the restaurant to avoid situations like that in the future and was going to work with training his team. Horrible experience and to expect someone to go get change for ur establishment is not acceptable, if u can’t manage counting a register to know if u have change or not then u probably can’t count how many toppings go on a pizza. Kaylee’s qualifications might be better used at the unemployment office. It’s painstaking to give them a 1 star when they truly...
