I was looking for some Veg options usually Thai restaurants never go wrong. I was checking whether the chicken was Halal unforutnately it was not. The business was unclaimed so wasn't sure whether I should go or try some other restaurant. Just took a chance. Was lucky its a small place in the PCH near Pennsylvania avenue. As soon as you enter you can see 5+ tables and nicely decorated wall. The ambiance was really nice. We went on Thursday night not much crowded. Got a place and the service was fantastic. She was really taking care of the customers. Prompt and responsive and was really getting the customization that we made. Ordered Veg Wonton(Fried and Steamed), Pineapple fried rice, Veg chow mein with fried Tofu and Yellow Curry. Was the quantity was good enough for 4 people(2 Adults and 2 Young Adults). Usually I never ate Tofu in most of the Thai restaurant try to pass it on or leave it without eating for some reason I never liked it. Here the texture and how they fried made me try and loved it. Yes I know I am not talking about the main dishes. All 4 items were absolutely amazing., Nothing to complain from the beginning to end it was really a nice experience.I will definitely visit again. Just note there are not much dessert options. Special kudos the person who served(Just missed her name). Usually I will be hesitant to give 5 rating but this one I am going with it. Note to the restaurant - Please claim your...
Read moreThis is really a very small restaurant that specializes in Thai food. There were not many customers when we visited that night, so the environment was quite quiet. Since I was very hungry after work, I ordered more dishes. I personally liked their crab fried rice. It was not too salty or inexplicably sweet, but the Tom Yum Goong noodle soup was of a lower standard and didn't taste like Tom Yum soup at all. What’s a little surprising is that the quality of the desserts they serve is actually very good. Sticky Rice Mango is my favorite dessert. Although the mango is not sweet enough, I am still willing to give it high marks. The fried banana with coconut ice cream just won my wife's...
Read moreI have to give it a mediocre rating because of one key factor. Everything was watered down. The first thing I noticed is they labeled their soy sauce bottles as "thin". What they really mean is it's soy sauce mixed with more water. Then they handed me the siracha bottle and it came out like straight water. Lastely I ordered green curry, and what they gave me is green soup. They really did a good job with their flavors considering I got pretty hydrated from just eating. We'll they did compensate by making it much spicier and saltier than I had asked for. The lady who served me was actually very nice so I did not leave the establishment...
