I walked into this establishment and two people were standing at the counter, a young blonde lady, and a short, bald man. I took about 3 minutes to look over their sandwich menu, at no point in time was I acknowledged. I went up to the counter where I stood for about a minute, again never being acknowledged. Not even a glance my way. It was clear to me the young woman is an employee as the man, who I assume is the owner, was telling her all the things he will not do for customer orders. Finally, I put my hands up and began to walk out, as I am on a lunch break. At this time the young lady called to me that she was sorry and she could help me. What an incredibly rude owner who willfully dismissed a customer who was willing to pay $20 for a sandwich. I can say it was worth the wait 👍 all aspects of the sandwhich were top notch the sauce/spread and amount used is amazing not to much not to little the bread is rustic and holds everything together nicely they used a mix of fresh greens for the lettuce it was great with the oil the cheese was sliced very thin which I prefer along with the meat which was also very fresh and tasty went to the beach and got into the sandwhich about 10-15 minutes after receiving it tasted like it was just brought out when I ate it will definitely return but will order before I do some errands or shopping on second so I can have a great sandwhich waiting when I’m done it taste exactly like zochollis in Santa Cruz if you know...

Lots of quality import options to take home (including my favorite mainstream Italian coffee - Illy), delicious counter items from sides to sandwiches to meat by the pound, superb wine selection with some gems to be found (but please leave them for me) and even some fresh produce to use in your home cooked Italian meal.

Otherwise, make it a stop on your grocery run for shelf items such as coffee, oils/vinegar, packaged treats, and great wine. Prices are reasonable and it's a local business... if you're not frequenting...
