Title: A Taste of Lebanese Magic at Open Sesame!

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Review:

Open Sesame Lebanese Restaurant has truly captured the essence of Lebanese cuisine, and their Saturday special, the Kabssa, is an absolute masterpiece that will transport your taste buds to a world of flavor and delight.

The moment you step into Open Sesame, you are greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of the vibrant streets of Lebanon. The staff is friendly, attentive, and eager to guide you through their menu, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the Kabssa. This dish is a true labor of love, as the lamb shank is braised for five hours over a low flame, resulting in tender, succulent meat that practically melts in your mouth. The combination of tomatoes, spices, and herbs creates a symphony of flavors that is both comforting and exotic.

Served over a bed of fragrant basmati rice cooked with green bell peppers, onions, carrots, and raisins, the Kabssa is a delightful medley of textures and aromas. Each spoonful is a journey through layers of perfectly balanced flavors, leaving you craving more with every bite.

To add a touch of decadence, the Kabssa is sprinkled with pine nut and almond slivers, providing a delightful crunch and a burst of nutty goodness. The combination of the tender lamb, aromatic rice, and the nutty topping is simply divine.

If you're looking to explore more of Open Sesame's offerings, I highly recommend trying their Open Sesame Combo. This platter is a feast for the senses, featuring a delightful selection of traditional Lebanese dishes. From creamy hummus and smoky baba ghanoush to tangy tabbouleh and flavorful falafel, each component is expertly crafted and bursting with authentic flavors.

Open Sesame's commitment to quality and authenticity is evident in every dish they serve. The attention to detail in both presentation and taste is remarkable, and it's clear that the chefs take great pride in showcasing the best of Lebanese cuisine.

In addition to the outstanding food, Open Sesame offers a welcoming and comfortable ambiance, perfect for enjoying a leisurely meal with friends and family. The prices are reasonable, considering the generous portions and the high quality of ingredients used.

In conclusion, Open Sesame Lebanese Restaurant is a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered. The Kabssa, with its tender lamb, aromatic rice, and flavorful spices, is a culinary masterpiece that will leave you craving more. Whether you're a fan of Lebanese cuisine or simply looking for a unique dining experience, Open Sesame is a must-visit. Prepare to be enchanted by the flavors of Lebanon and the warm hospitality of the staff. Trust me, you won't be...

Stepping into Open Sesame Mediterranean Restaurant is like catching that perfect SoCal vibe, where every flavor and aroma hits you with a sunny warmth that just gets you stoked for the meal ahead. Right from the get-go, the place has this chill yet exotic feel, setting you up for a rad culinary cruise through the Mediterranean.

Now, let's talk about the Chicken Tawook. This dish is the real MVP, no kidding. It's grilled to absolute perfection, with each bite packed with so much tenderness and juiciness, it’s like a flavor wave you just wanna ride all night. The chefs here? They've got skills that take simple chicken to next-level awesome.

And yo, the hummus? Seriously legendary. It’s so creamy, so rich, it’s like they've found the secret recipe to hummus heaven. Dipping into it, you'll wanna slow down and savor every bit because it’s that mind-blowing.

Don’t even get me started on the appetizers. The cauliflower and potato slices with that garlicky goodness? Absolute game-changers. The cauliflower comes out all crispy and golden, with a smoky flavor that’s balanced out by a kick of garlic. And those potatoes are just as epic, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, all wrapped up in this addictive garlic sauce.

Open Sesame is more than just a spot to grab a bite; it’s where you go for the full SoCal dining experience. This place is all about creating vibes with passion-filled dishes that make you feel right at home. It's got mad respect from locals and foodies alike, and for good reason. The vibe is laid-back, the service is on point, and the atmosphere? Totally inviting.

If you’re cruising for some Mediterranean flavors or just wanna dive into a meal that’s all kinds of delicious, Open Sesame is where it's at. Highly recommended? That’s an understatement. This joint isn't just about eating; it's about enjoying the ride. And trust me, it's one culinary journey you’ll wanna take...

Last night my wife and I and a friend of ours dined here. This is the 2nd time my wife and I visited here. This restaurant is very popular and usually a line of people waiting to be seated.

We were in luck, while the receptionist was busy with others, the manager asked how many in our party...we said three. Within 3 minutes he took us directly inside. Felt great to be treated so well.

The manager introduced our waitress to us. She was very happy and made us all feel very comfortable.

She quickly took our appetizer order, garlic fries and the Meza sampler which consisted of 3 stuffed grape leaves calmata olives hummus toboule labneh and yogurt dip with all the Peta bread you want.

Our order came quickly. Absolutely NO COMPLAINTS on the appetizers..it was very tasty and none went to waist.

I had a Moroccan Green Ice tea which was light and refreshing, my wife had the Tamarind indian date syrup infused with rose water it was very tasty. Our friend had a red wine which he said was great.

We ordered the Beef Kabob prime top sirloin, parsley, onion, sumac, basmati rice. Served with pita bread choice of one dip and one salad. The beef was absolutely cooked to medium perfection. The rice was so good my wife ordered a side of rice. Combining all that into a folded pita bread was mouth watering to say the least.

Our friend ordered the same. He loved it.

The ambiance was very nice the service was great. We highly recommend dining at...

We ate here on the high recommendation of a friend. Oh my they did not undersell it AT ALL. The food was INCREDIBLE. I was too into eating that I forgot to take pix of it. Ordered the sake monitor, very tasty. Then my husband and I shared the spicy potatoes with garlic sauce. Let me tell you that garlic sauce is EVERYTHING. I would bathe in it. I would order a tub and put it on everything I eat til the end of time. Absolutely delicious. We also shared the combo plate with the meatball? Chicken and steak I believe. Omg the meats were cooked to perfection. You have an option of a dip and a salad with each entree plate and we opted for babaganoosh and the fatoosh salad. They were both very good but truly the rice and garlic sauce and meat on the plate outshine the salad and dip. They're good but their neighbors on the plate are just *better*. We went with friends who both ordered the lamb chops. They had been a few weeks ago and knew exactly what they wanted - because those chops were heaven. My friend was kind enough to share so we could try and OMG. They weren't kidding. I swear you will not regret anything you order off of this menu. It was all mouthwateringly delicious. I can't speak enough good things about this place. Go. Eat. You will not regret it!
