Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Long Beach

Came with a few family members to get ice cream. A few in our party, They had group of employees there. Roughly 3. We were next in line and one of the employees assisted us. While doing that she left the first ice cream seating out. Then the other employees started helping other people there while my party was sitting and waiting for our employee do a milkshake. After like 6-7 minutes the first Ice cream is melted and when I asked to get a new one she seemed confused about why. I told her why and it was melted, she then mumbled something like “okay and”. I told her again, I would like a new cup please. And without saying anything she went to go gossip with her coworker then turned and decided to go back and forth with me. I told her it’s melted, why would I want a melted ice cream. She then went to the back and then the other Co worker came up to me, She said “we told her (my cousin) she needed a lid” and I said “the lid wouldn’t help stop it from melting. Putting it in the fridge like you did for everyone else would have”. Then she leaves me. After a few minutes, I ask once again, “can I get a new one please? Or a refund at this point” then she points to the back and mumbles. The two employees then talk to each other and the first girl goes and redoes it. Makes no sense why all of this was so hard? If the ice cream is now basically a liquid and melted, and you can see it- why not just replace it? Then- why help the men first when we arrived there before them? It seemed to us that they ignorantly chose to survive the two party of ONE men before our group when we got there before them. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Horrible customer service, etiquette and plain out...

Worse place ever for kids... is such tiny store, dont have bathrooms but the enough space for tables so they can sell more, can't hold your ice cream while you go into the next door store to use their facilities. So dont come alone with your kids because if they have to go you have a big problem and is not like the ice creams are 1 dlls to waste.... bad customer service both attendance women told me is a health issue holding my ice cream, but their table were so nasty, full of old ice cream from prior customers and the decorating cake lady is on the back without apron, gloves, mouth cover nor hair neat. Would have give zero star but you can't. Health department should come and fine them, dont put tables and make it look like a restaurant if your not gonna provide all the ammineties of one or post it at the entrance...

Came here today with my wife, son and his 3 buddies. Place was empty so I was happy...until we started ordering and ONLY the one young Hispanic girl was helping us. By the time my wife and 1 of the boys had ordered a banana royale each a whole other family had walked in, ordered, been helped by the 2nd girl and left meanwhile 4 of us were sitting there waiting to be served. I politely asked the 2nd young lady if we could start a 2nd order and she was clearly bothered, and made it very clear when I ordered a hot fudge sundae and she put such tiny scoops that the entire vanilla scoop melted with the little hot fudge she put on. Hope her boss reads this and has a chat with her because it's pretty rude to let 1 girl try and serve 6 guests and sweat meanwhile while you're off icing...
