Feeling juicy?
Recently, I've been getting into a green juice kick. The energy & vitality I feel after consuming it makes my body feel great and I try to have green juice most of the week. Mainly going to 7-Elevens for their bottled 100% organic cold-pressed green juice, my eyes spied the Grand Opening of Nekter Juice Bar LB Traffic Circle.

On a rainy SoCal day, I schlepped through the precipitation to secure my spot as #11 in line. Gotta get dat schwag bag, baby!
While waiting, a DJ was setup for our listening pleasure, and I was the only one dancing the "cupid shuffle" when he played it.
I thought Nekter's promotion was $1 for any freshly made juice or smoothie on their menu, and I had my mind made up on their signature drink, "the greenie". Unbeknownst to me, the promo was valid only for certain drinks. I asked which juice had the least amount of sugar, and was told "the buzz". So that's what I got.
The Buzz Carrot, orange, lemon & ginger. With the first sip, I felt the heat from the ginger coming through, immediately. Refreshingly good, the drink wasn't too sweet, and all the vitamin A & C boosted my immune system and armored me up for when I'm around sick people.
Service was good. I only waited a few minutes for my drink to be ready, even with the amount of customers passing through. Only a few tables available for seating, Nekter is more a grab & go place.
Parking is via a private lot.
Here's to your health! Nekter Juice Bar is a great, convenient option for some killer fresh juice & smoothies. Besides that, kombucha, acai bowls & cashew milk ice cream diversify the options to appeal to almost everyone. I enjoyed my very first Nekter drink & am looking forward to having their signature "greenie" drink in the future.

Read moreToday I visited Nektar on Ximeno in Long Beach and was pretty disappointed with the customer service. Unfortunately, I wasn't greeted upon entry, which is always a bit off-putting. The person working there, Jezel, had a very "blah" demeanor and her customer service skills really seemed to be lacking. In a customer-facing role, you'd expect a more welcoming and engaged attitude, but she just seemed disengaged. It's a shame, because a positive customer experience really makes a difference. Honestly, if someone's demeanor isn't suited for direct customer interaction, it might be better for them to work in a different capacity and let those with strong customer service skills be on the...
Read moreMe and my niece gave our order than we sat down waiting. People was coming in and out with their order we still sitting. So I finally spoke up and said when is my order going to be made no one from behind that counter ask us anything until I spoke up so in all that, I will not be going back there and I'm telling my family not to go here anymore I wish I remembered her name because she was wrong for...
