Look at that hefty SOB (sub of the Beach)!!
Beach City Deli & BBQ is a quaint deli & slow smoked meat shop, taking pride in their fresh ingredients & quality meat. I was in area, and nothing sounded better than a hearty submarine sandwich.
Having the hard decision of choosing between Lamb, Tri-Tip & Beach City's Brisket Philly, I went with the recommendation of the cashier & picked Tri-Tip. I was already leaning toward it.
Tri-Tip- Smoked & sliced, doused with house-made regular or spicy BBQ sauce (I chose spicy), on a toasted roll. I asked to have lettuce, tomato, onions & pickles added. A heaping amount of tender, juicy tri-tip, I relished each bite of my sandwich. The spicy BBQ sauce had the correct amount of heat for me, not burning out my palate. Everything else, especially the pickles, brought everything together into a sumptuous symphony.
Service was great. The staff were friendly & accommodating. The eatery is small, with no interior seating or public restrooms. A few outdoor tables are available to dine at, but not spacious enough for large groups.
Beach City Deli & BBQ hit the spot for my sandwich cravings. The tri-tip was incredibly delicious & flavorful. I'm looking forward to coming back and exploring the rest...
Read moreWhat can be said. In all my years on God's green Earth I have NEVER had a more satisfying Thanksgiving dinner. I haven't enough superlatives to describe this experience. I swear, if I were a Michelin restaurant reviewer I would make damn sure this place got a star! It was that good. Not a single person could stay quiet about the taste of this food throughout the whole meal. The most moist succulent turkey was the star of the show. The brown gravey, a holy annointing sauce . If you are looking to more than impress, most assuredly you WILL! From the corn, to the stuffing, to the green bean salad, to the best cranberry sauce to ever bless every last item on the plate, just how did it complement EVERY LAST THING it touched is a miracle too me. And don't even get me started on the price. It could have been much more and it would still be a bargain. I swear I am guarding my left overs with jealous eyes doling them out to make them last. And the portions, they were plenty so even though the trays were hit HARD there was some left. Christmas is coming, you can bet your butt this feast will grace my table again. I'll likely even buy a second meal to freeze or reprise this food symphony again a...

Parking a little difficult, but no lie, if I am over here will probably come again.
Got 3 sandwiches. So tuna melt one of the best ones I have had, it wasn't overtly mayo-ey, sort of lemon-peppery with real celery and red onion and pieces really small. My daughter liked her ham sandwich and finished the whole 8IN. The bread is more like the cuban style, which we all prefer since its balanced between bread, meat, and veggies. I would definitely come back just for the tuna sandwich. My husband also liked his 12 inch sandwich, after it being in my car for awhile, it was right amount of spicy. Sandwich was good enough for him to ask where it came from, I told him I saved...
