the older lady working there has very poor customer service skills. i was in the store for about 3 minutes before she came up to me asking if i was going to buy anything even though i had just got there. i told her i wanted to look around first, so i continued looking at the plushes and other products and about two minutes later she comes up to me and asks me why i keep touching the plushes (even though that’s a completely normal thing to do to check for quality??) i suspect she wanted to rush me out the store because i am a teenager of color who was wearing a backpack so she probably stereotyped me to being a stealer. i say this because she didn’t treat any of the other guests (a lot of white people) the way she treated me. i hope this overpriced and rude employee having...

The lady working behind the counter is always so rude. I’ve been at this location twice, the first time she was condescending however, I brushed it off, thinking she probably was just having a bad day. The second time I walked in she was rude when I asked her a question. I couldn’t help but notice that she was very helpful to others. I told my sister about this experience as she was the one who told me about this shop. She has also experienced the same treatment from the staff here. It’s crazy how she always raves to “shop local” but does not know customer etiquette. Anyways, I was looking for these toys for my nephews and pixie toys was my first choice. THIS LITTLE STORE IS A HIDDEN GEM! I was pleased to see that for an independent toy store with lots of unique items, that this place was not cost prohibitive. Everything still looked very affordable. They have pre-wrapped MYSTERY GIFTS that are marked by age. When I was a kid Sanrio had mystery packs like this that I went crazy for! I thought it was so cool they had a few options of those. This place is PACKED with good toys but it clean and organized/not overwhelming, and it seems like they get new stuff all the time. Forget the Target aisle...
