Pancho's is consistently some of the best mex around. This has always been family owned, and other than a small lapse when Grandpa died (he ran the kitchen), you always get what you are anticipating. They make the best hard shell tacos!! Their food is so good that it's something to crave when you are in the area. It's still the same, and I have been going since I was a kid...+/- 50 years. There are no frills here and a very limited bottled beer selection. The parking lot is fairly good size, but the entrance / exit is a bit challenging. For what you get, they are very inexpensive. This place is great. Been coming here for almost 30 years. The people complaining there are no margaritas or other alcohol have issues that go beyond anything that can be said here. If you’re coming for a margarita then you obviously care more about your habit than you do service and quality. Cash only, but anyone that has a debit card can get the cash out so sounds like a you problem there as well. I crave for this place on a regular schedule and will never stop coming back. Parking is a little tricky but this is an historic location and is almost all completely original which I think is a rare thing to find anymore. I've been going here for years. Actually I went here on the way home from the hospital after I was born, so I know what's up. The place is owned by Pancho and ran by family (Rosa & Melinda etc.) all very friendly and on a first name basis with all the regulars. Here's my advice. Order: Nacho's to start Must order TACO Sauce (goes with everything) This will be the basis of your repeat business. Iced Tea is delicious
Anything on their menu will be pretty good. Don't order a hamburger. Try something Mexican. I usually order the chicken tostada (comes in a huge shell) and beef enchiladas.
