This place is open till midnight every day, and they're always packed, both in the drive-thru and inside. I'd been wanting to try their coffee for a while, at the recommendation of a friend who lives nearby. I was not disappointed; the coffee is sumptuous & delicious and actually tastes fresh - not stale or over-roasted like some of the big chain coffee spots on every corner. Plus they have an array of interesting flavors you won't find anywhere else. I got the Horchata Frappe, and it was smooth and creamy, not too sweet - a nice refreshing beverage on a hot afternoon. Also their pastry selection includes some unique selections, in addition to the typical bakery options. I felt adventurous so I ordered a guava cheese pastry, which was good but not excellent. It probably would've tasted better heated. The drive-thru is a bit confusing, as you pay and recieve food items at the first window, and get coffee orders at the second window. The first time I went, they asked me if I wanted my pastry heated, I said yes, then they told me to pull forward - so I thought I would get my whole order at the second window, but they forgot to give me my pastry altogether, which I didn't realize until a while later. I stopped back in as I was leaving LBC a while later, went inside with my receipt & ended up waiting like 10 minutes to talk to somebody. The staff wasn't particularly friendly or accommodating. They asked me if I had asked for it heated, I think just to verify, even though I had my receipt (again I said yes) and then proceeded to hand me the original pastry - which was now cold. I know it was the same one from earlier because it was already in a baggie & they got it from ther back. They didn't bother to reheat it for me. Anyway, the coffee is bomb but the staff has a sour attitude and on top of that the parking lot is hard to get out of - it's one way and exits into an alley - so -1 star for...
Read moreI am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received at your coffee shop earlier today. What was supposed to be a simple morning coffee run turned into one of the most unpleasant customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
To begin with, I waited in the drive-thru line for approximately 30 minutes, and once I finally made it to the order box, I was left sitting there for an additional five minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. I understand delays can happen, but what followed was completely unacceptable.
The woman working the window at 4:45 PM on Friday 4/4, was extremely rude and dismissive. Her demeanor could best be described as cold, sarcastic, and downright hostile — reminiscent of Wednesday Addams from the Addams Family, only without the charm or wit. There was no greeting, no eye contact, no basic courtesy — just a blank, miserable stare like I had personally ruined her day by showing up.
After she handed me my drink, I politely asked if I could have some napkins. Instead of responding, she slammed the window in my face without a word, leaving me shocked and completely disrespected.
This was my first and last time visiting this establishment.
This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable for any business, especially one that prides itself on customer service. I do not make complaints lightly, but this employee’s behavior was so egregious that I genuinely question whether she is suited for any customer-facing position. Her conduct was not only rude — it was hostile, and it made me feel genuinely unwelcome.
I hope this matter is taken seriously, because no paying customer deserves to be...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would for customer service overall the drinks are good but if you want good vibes and good drinks I would drive the extra 5 minutes and go to the Carson St location. When I'm in a rush I tend to come to this location but if you want rude employees smirking and rolling their eyes when they make a mistake of not getting your order right this isn't the place you want to go to. I always try to give places the benefit of doubt because some people just have a bad days but this being the 3 Rd time with different employees is crazy and this isn't s how someone wants to start their day off.
I went into the location and wanted 3 frappes I asked for 1 horchata frappe and 2 rice and beans with an added shot the teller who was helping charged me and I asked for a receipt I noticed I was only being charged 2 drinks instead of 3 I walked back to the counter and just stated I wanted 2 of the rice and beans not just one she rolled her eyes and enter my 3 Rd drink in. She didn't even tell me to enter my card she just walked away from the cash register like it was my fault the 3 Rd drink I didn't give any attitude just pointed out the 3 Rd drink wasnt added I tapped my card and just walked away. When my drinks were ready The lady literally pushed my drinks called my name and walked away and did not even asked if I was missing any other items every one here seems unapproachable. The customer etiquette is definitely not here I hope...
