Colonial Pool & Spa Motel — Hotel in Long Beach

DO NOT EVER GET A ROOM HERE!! Needed to stay somewhere for the night, looked okay from outside, and booked a 2 bed, but this is the absolute worst hotel I've ever stayed in. walked in to a musky mold smell, graffiti all over the walls, a bathroom door with a giant crack in it that looks like it was put back together after being kicked in, it also didn't close at all so no privacy in the bathroom, holes all over the walls plastered over not even painted, random screws sticking out the wall for no apparent reason, what I think was mold coming through the walls, and two massive mirrors with a crack all the way across covering the wall next to the left side bed. I highly doubt our room had ever been cleaned. Like, AT ALL. Floor was disgusting, made my feet black like I was standing in the street (I kept my shoes on the rest of our stay) toilet either didn't flush or would almost flush all the way, about 20 some black cigarette burns on the right side of our nightstand, inside of microwave was grimy and rusty, found hair and dirt under our pillows, I didn't look in the drawers because I honestly did not want to know nor did I trust them enough for my clothes, but two were missing. Staff was either unresponsive or just rude, never asked if we needed toiletries or towels, they weren't there when we checked in, when we asked staff she almost seemed offended at the question, and the lady in the office almost didn't give a receipt after mentioning how disturbing that room was. Literally the only clean part of the room I stayed in was the shower, and even then there were stains and hair ON THE BATHROOM CEILING. I don't even know how that happens!! Luckily no bed bugs in our room but roaches galore. Absolutely do not go here if you can help it, the images they put for Google are either from when this place opened and didn't look like a crack den, or just completely staged. My only reprise was watching the cats that roam outside but my God there were a lot of cats but no way in hell that stay was worth what I paid. Place needs to...

While waiting my new home to be prepped for move in we stay here. My family and I slid the key into door to walk into the must terrible smell ever. It smelled of animals. I then walked into the bathroom,to discover the shower still left with someones soap and an attached hair. I then went to look at the beds then to look over to discover animal puke on the side nightstand and the carpet. I then went to the store bought cleaners and air fresheners along with gloves and a broom. I cleaned. It began to smell better, and I felt a little cleaner. The internet and HBO work on when it wants to. The neighbors are often yelling along with the local druggies turning your door handle beating on your door or someone trying to sell you their groceries from the Dollar store. Not to mention I seen cops arresting a person in parking lot ans chopper flying over with spotlight. The place has roaches. I also never got a trash can or fresh towels or maid service at all, not even offered to me. Thank goodness we brought our own towels, soap, and toliet paper. I woke up in the mornings to find itchy bites on my arms, legs ,elbows, and neck. I cleaned every day we stayed and plan to laundry everything in hot water and hot dryer. The pool is dirty and smells of urine. Please pass up this place and drive on. Pay a little more you will be...
