Tacos "El Sapo" Long Beach — Restaurant in Long Beach

This is my go to spot on Taco Tuesday and a couple other days a week if I can afford it. Even though all goods are purchased at an all time high and wages being stagnant, I by a bunch of tacos and hum when I devour them. No Taco truck brings me into heaven when I eat these al pastor tacos. When I undulge into 6 al pastor tacos there is nothing but peace and tranquility as I take each bite. My children live it too. The young lady that takes the orders is super nice along with (I believe) the owner. I get a kick out of the guy that takes my order he just seems so happy he bounces up and down and says your total will be ONLY....(then the price). That tickles my tummy to death The lady will totally have a conversation with my kids. To me that is service because not only do my kids feel heard and my order gets placed.... The tacos are really good, one of the best places to get tacos that are as close as you can get to over the border tacos in regards to taste. They have salsas, lemon, salt, and more for condiments and toppings. They offer more than just tacos like burritos and quesadillas and mini quesadillas all of which are really good. Not only is the meat meaty instead of fatty, it's also really good in price. I never knew why people would go to King Taco for over priced tacos with all fat. Now with this location here I hope no one goes to king taco so they can try real quality tacos. This is right around the corner from me and my new to go place for tacos and such.

Very mixed feelings about this place, I wanted to give it 4 stars due to the fact they are open late and these guy seem to be working their behind off, however I can't for several reasons. 1st their Carne Asada taco have more meat than King Taco but it is not nowhere near as good as King Taco. 2nd and this is a huge problem for me, while I was there during Covid 19, cooks weren't wearing gloves and one used his shirt to quickly wipe his nose. 3rd, as you can see in the pic below they just let random drunk girls into the truck!!! 4th there were all sort of food hook-up at the back of the truck for people they knew!
