It breaks my heart to share this review. To preface: I am vegan. I ordered a vegan pepperoni pizza tonight with pineapple and jalapeños and breadsticks. Breadsticks were good. The pizza… was something else. I’d eaten here before a year ago at the old location and it was fantastic. I don’t know if they changed or I did, but something about the cheese is off. I noticed it the last time I ordered from them too and it was off then also. I assumed it was a fluke and gave them one more chance. It’s goopy and has a strange aftertaste and is unlike any other vegan cheese I’ve ever had, and trust me, I’ve had quite a few. It just is not what it used to be. No, it definitely wasn’t regular cheese either. It would taste delicious and I would be upset for a completely different reason, LOL. The staff was so kind and it’s a cute space, and you should probably go there for the coffee and support a local business, but skip the pizza unless they change it. I don’t like trashing a local business. I hope I can be persuaded to try it again and I hope they change the cheese because it used to be amazing. I know times are hard and vendors are inconsistent so I appreciate that maybe they pulled one over on them and they don’t know it. They also changed from being exclusively vegan to offering non-vegan options which is upsetting for us vegans because we worry a lot about accidentally getting meat or regular cheese and it was nice to have a place where that wasn’t a concern. It breaks my heart to leave this review about an establishment offering a vegan product. There are better places to go in Long Beach for your vegan pizza fix. </3

I think my search for the best vegan pizza has come to an end. Vegan Pizza LB not just builds creative and delicious pies, but genuinely puts their soul into it. I was already excited to try this place, as who doesn’t love pizza and their menu looked good, but the moment I met the man who runs it, I knew I was in for something truly great. You could see and hear the passion in him as he moved around the shop. I think I can confidently say for him, it’s not just about cooking, he’s making a personal art piece for every order, to the point where he reveled to us our pizzas and told us “I love seeing the look on people’s faces when I show them the pizza.” But the exceptional experience doesn’t stop there, as when we got home and could finally try them, I can confidently say these were some of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, vegan or not. Every aspect was done wonderfully: the crust, sauce, topping parings, and especially the “hypnotic” swirl. My only complaint? I live an hour away and I know for a fact I’ll be making the drive again just for another.

Do they still have that white cabinet stand outside? I haven’t gone back since it fell on me and they still kept it outside, I went back like a week later to get contact info but none of the employees had a # for me to call. It bruised my leg and foot so bad I had to go to hospital bcuz it was hard to walk. I tried to catch it and it hit my thigh before falling onto my foot. be careful going here, their equipment is not sturdy. I gave 2 stars because the place is clean, and the food is decent with vegan options. But the lack of concern for safety of their customers makes it difficult to keep supporting the business

I haven't even had the pizza yet and I'm already sold on this place! I live 10 minutes away and have passed this place many times making it a point to stop in and check out their menu. I finally stopped procrastinating and went in to see what it was all about. The woman (can't recall name) at the front desk was very friendly and super knowledgeable about the products in which they are selling. This was very much appreciated as I was explaining to her that so many people in the customer service industry do not have any knowledge about the products in which they serve and sell which is ridiculous from a customer point of view. She went into depth about the name of the cheese brand that they use, how the pizzas are made and how they decide what selections to provide. I had a great conversation with her and look forward to getting back in there and getting my pizza fix! Although I have yet to eat there I am 100% confident that when I do it will be equally as pleasurable as her customer service! High quality customer service continues to dissipate in society these days and it's good personable customer service that I seek above anything else before providing business with any company. I appreciate her demeanor enthusiasm and kindness and look forward to getting my hands on some...

Came in 20 minutes before close on a Saturday. Was told bluntly that they were closed. Actually didn't even tell me they were closed. They asked if I was there for pickup. Said no. I need to put in an order. Then was bluntly told they were closed. When I asked what time they closed I was told I was being aggressive. Meanwhile I kept trying to ask. It says online you close at 9pm what time do you close. Kept refusing to answer and kept telling me I was being aggressive. When I tried to communicate I was just trying to get a simple answer the worker kept being condescending and egging me on to imply I was being unreasonable. Eventually his coworker stepped in and claimed they used their last dough and don't have any more prepped to make another pizza. That seemed sketch but even if that was true that should be communicated if you're denying someone service during business hours. I will never come back here again. The passive aggression on top of no desire to explain to a potential customer why they just wasted 20-30 mins of their time to arrive in normal business hours.

Just disrespectful all around. It could be the best pizza in the world but I refuse to be part of a...
