Top 4 Spiciest Chicken Spots in Colorado Announced

Decided to give them a try after adding food as we had not been in since Food was added. Food and drinks were good as other reviews state. All the burgers are 2 patties and they are big, not sure if you can get one patty. I got the railyard wrap with grilled chicken and enjoyed it. My husband got the chicken tenders they were good as well. The 3 stars is service, I usually like to sit at the bar when available however I'm not sure it's the right choice here. At least when we were here there was drama with staff and other people sitting at the bar that seem to know each other and possibly co-workers as there was an issue the night before being discussed for all to hear. We were asked twice upon arrival what we would like by 2 people within a minute of each other and the 2nd one interrupted my husband and I talking about the menu and she was irritated when I asked I'm sorry what as I did not hear her question since I was in the middle of a sentence. Once we had decided then no one would talk to us menus pushed away as the sign so we asked if we could place our order and try some samples. Then the first person who asked us what we wanted let us know if we need service use the sign and put in the bucket. So I'm confused at this point am I going to be interrupted again or should I use the sign in the bucket. We proceeded to use the sign and sit and wait, it was not busy either as we were there on a Sunday between 430pm and 530pm.

This place went above and beyond my expectations, which is rare. The family wanted cheeseburgers for dinner and we hadn't had an especially great one since our favorite burger truck closed up shop. We checked around for reviews and menus, and all agreed to try 300 Suns for the first time. We went on a Friday night around 6:00 and it was busy, but they had some seating right away and we got sat outside. They have shade set up which was perfect. We ordered cheddar bacon burgers and my only complaint about it was that it was too big for me to finish it. The cheddar was sharp, bacon cooked perfectly and fresh garden lettuce and toppings. Bun was perfect - it was perfectly executed. I got a side salad that was simple but really well done and they make their dressing in house. We ordered the 50/50 poutine which - if you're into poutine was pretty great. Fries were crispy and plenty of cheese curds and gravy. A little more toppings than I prefer (so much cheese!) but my husband liked it as is. My daughter got the kids burger and cheese curds and it was as plentiful and delicious as everything else. They have a diverse and great drink list - brew their root beer in house, and the service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be back!

I am hard pressed to even give this place 2 stars. I am only doing so because the non-alcoholic beer they had was actually pretty good. That was about the only thing that saved them from 1 star.

I'll start with their customer service as that is the hallmark of any business. We must have had 3-4 different people help us and every one of them treated us as though we were bothering them. No smiles, no jokes, short yes or no answers, and jut generally unpleasant. We could have had a much better experience had our service at least been enjoyable.

On to the food. Whoever was working the fryer did a great job. The fried cheese curds and French fries were on point: crispy and fresh. The burger and sandwich we ordered were something else. The burger bun was a soggy mess and the sandwich was like canned Manwich on fried toast. We felt like the food was geared more towards the late night, inebriated crowd given the amount of grease and mess. And plastic utensils? Those sealed the image. Not to mention we asked for a water at some point and were given warm tap water in a cafeteria grade plastic cup. We thought that was normal until looking at other tables who had nice big glasses with ice in them.

A co-worker recommended this place and I feel bad to report our experience, but it was just all around not a good experience.

My wife and I left the place looking at how we were each dressed or to see if we had something on us as the way we were treated was abysmal. Needless to say, I won't even go back on my own for their beer as it was such a...

First and foremost, I oniy give 1 star ratings for restaurants that I would never return to. This is one of them. Let's break it down:

1). Ambience: very clean and service was acceptable. Waitress could of explained the heat levels more clearly or actually explained them. We will get to that in a bit. Tables were wobbly but I guess our drink didn't fall over. I did like how you placed the cards in the bucket for service.

2). Food. Chicken was dry and hotter than Satan himself. The heat scale is not only misleading but deceitful to the customer. Your little disclaimer about the "no returns" is not only ridicilous but straight up stealing money out of our pockets. Your heat scale is WRONG. I use reaper sauce on my pizza and it was nowhere near as hot as your level 2. Read the multiple other reviews explaining the same thing. Also, when I got my replacement...at full price, I received no side and paid for it. I have never been to an establishment that did this. Shame on you.

3.). Food was Ok (dry)

Beer. Could have been colder and just average. No thrills that seperate then from the hundreds of other breweries in Colorado.

All in all, we would never return. I don't embrace deceit and neither should everyone else. We work too hard for our money to deal with this type of business. My advice for you all would to be honest about your heat menu and offer quality food.

——I see the owner respond to everyone else’s reviews, good or bad, but not mine? Terrible business...

Very disappointed in the service and the beer. I bought three different beers (when the staff could finally be bothered to acknowledge my little green placard), and none of them were worth drinking. I hear the food is good, but I would imagine you would have to make it yourself to actually try it. Disappointing. I won't be returning.

*In response to the response I received from the business: Yes I was holding my phone. And I attempted to make eye contact as your employees were chattering. It may not seem like a long time to you, but during the time I sat there, I listened to two staff members on my left who were chatting with your staff member who was seated next to me with a date. (Yep, picked that up from the conversation)They also looked over the top of me at the friends of theirs who came in the door after me so they could yell some teasing comments at them. The jokes were not a problem, I have friends I joke with too, but it drove home a feeling that I wasn't there. Yes, I do have high expectations. I visited 13 breweries in your vicinity last week, and didn't complain about any of the other ones. I was greeted and felt welcome in all of the others. Thank you for posting a timeline that put my visit into clearer perspective. I do hope that you explain to your staff that, for some people, it's hard to walk into an establishment and feel comfortable. A quick check in can make the difference between a return customer and a...
