My family ordered a special cake for mother's day and I was hoping to pick it up earlier than it was supposed to be ready. I called the store after ordering it and they explained that it takes at least 24 hours to make the special order cakes due to having the ice cream firm up and since it was a busy weekend, it may not be ready early.

I understood, but decided to call back the next day and just see if it was possibly ready early (even an hour sooner than I had predicted.) and it WAS!

I went in and gave the girl who made it an extra tip to thank her for her time and urgency. She was very kind and the cake was beautiful and perfect to every specification we requested. My kids are still asking for more of this cake and it's been gone for nearly a week now. We'll be doing this same tradition next year.

The owner has been great about sorting out our order every time they get it wrong. He continues to reassure me it doesn’t happen often, so it might just be me whose order is messed up about 60% of the time. Last time an ice cream didn’t make it to the house when we had it delivered. This time we picked it up and the waffle bowls weren’t included. It’s usually the waffle bowls they forget (delivery or pick up). I have included notes with the order, begging to have the waffle bowls included but it rarely helps. I left my name and number to provide feedback to the owner tonight but have little hopes the information will be communicated. The gentlemen working tonight didn’t inspire confidence.

I think it’s fine if you go in and order. It’s always a wait and the store isn’t the cleanest so that’s a little off putting. I have given them many chances but I think it’s time for me to find a new ice...

I recently wrote a bad review of an experience I had a few days ago at this establishment, and I have come back to share this new experience. The lovely owner reached out to me and listened to what I had to say, and they were nothing but kind to me. They asked me questions, apologized, and offered me a second try. I was given the chance to go again to get their ice cream, which was a triple pint (which I always get), for free! And let me tell you, it was redeemed. It was exactly what I wanted and more. I would highly recommend THIS coldstone over any others I've been to.
