Chuy's — Restaurant in Longview

We’ve ordered to go orders from this Chuy’s twice since they opened last month. Our first order was alright, not the best Mexican food we’ve had but not the worst either. The second order was over an hour for estimated pickup and then when I got there I waited over 30 minutes for our order. I spoke to the to go girl when she came to curbside with another order within 5 minutes of my arrival, and she didn’t come back out so I called to speak to someone inside and they said they will handle it, however it took probably another 20 minutes for the to go girl to come back out to curbside with another persons order and I had to stop her to find out what was going on with my order. She claimed the kitchen was backed up and running behind, however when I FINALLY got our order (3 meals) I drove less than 5 minutes home and 2 of our plates were ICE COLD. Honestly, there’s much better Mexican/Tex-Mex restaurants in Longview for the price. The queso was decent but the salsa is just a weird pico de gallo and not...

I could tell this was going to be a great experience as soon as I got to the door. I was greeted with a smile. Seated immediately and had a great server by the name of Hannah. She brought me fresh chips and salsa. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that they weren't greasy nor drenched in salt. They had just the right amount. The homemade salsa was delicious! I ordered the appetizer plate as a meal, thinking it would be a great way to try three different things. I assumed it would be a small plate, but I was pleasantly surprised by how huge it was. Everything was delicious! I ended up taking most of it home. When it was time to leave, I was greeted by everyone, telling me to come back and to have a great day. I went there , last weekend , our waiters was amazing , but I sat there for hours till anyone came back to check on us. Food ordered. And it was wrong after two hours near ,mgr came and said our waiter, had high blood pressure but no one said anything. And when we got our food orders, was wrong , and there was hairs in my hubby's food. .I will never go back! Communication is aweful. Not blaming waiter, but I blame mgt ,for having us sit there and no one say anything.when there were plenty of waitresses , that could have checked on us, or said something ! , And Then get food wrong too , with a dagum hair...my philosophy, .to run a good establishment , communication , is important , and to have staff that check on customers..and get people's orders right!
